Looks great Dink! Gonna be a day one purchase for me. The bubble helmet is aweso9me and when I saw the raygun pistols I knew this project was in the right hands.

I think it's fine. Retro scifi ain't often small or subtle.

I don't know if this has been mentioned yet as I'm a little late to the party and haven't read the entire thread. I really like how this set is shaping up.

When I saw the glass bowl all I could think of is how cool it would be if we could use something similar to this

They're spacesuits. When you're out in vacuum, you can't simply unzip and take a leak. The necessary plumbing takes up some space.

It's one of the 2 new normal-mapped faces in the pack

Thanks for sharing some more, Dink!!
I'm looking forward to this pack more than any other before it.

Everything looks great, but the bubble helmet takes the cake. The reflection is fantastic.
I am getting a little sad that the one character I have that could so use the bubble helmet won't be able to (because he needs Detail 1 and Detail 2 options to really make his face).
If you could ever find a way to make an optional face covering for the lower half (something like one of the ninja/assassin/warrior masks inside the helmet), that would be superb. However, I totally understand that this request of mine is likely more than can be done at this point (although, it would help any and all character that normally have beards and such as well).

Regardless... Day one purchase!

Aside from really amazing work, it's fun to see the progression from concept to what is now near-completion. As someone lacking that skillset, it really creates a sense of appreciation.

Again, great job!

I like the bubble helmet It's a tad... Strange to see the zipper on the front of the space suit go through the bubble helmet collar and actually zip up to inside the helmet, however. It makes the helmet seem less like a part of the space suit and more like a piece that's just threaded over the head. I know that retro sci-fi isn't exactly known for its factual accuracy, but I have a hard time imagining how you get an airtight seal over a zipper.

That said, this is a problem that's very easily fixed by simply not using a top with a zipper down the chest, and of those there are PLENTY. Stealth, Defence, ExoProto, the various tech armours and so forth. I'm just bringing it up as a "thing," not so much as a complaint.

Beyond that, I really do like the bubble helmet. This will be a great boon, though I'm not sure what I can use it for yet. Probably a future character of some sort, or maybe I can use it on someone from my F Squad. We'll see how that goes, but either way, I LOVE that costume piece.

I know I can theoretically buy just that, but I feel the work and artistry put into this set deserves a full-set purchase whenever that comes out. Good job all around, and I'm proud to say that there is plenty in this set even for people like me who aren't great big fans of retro sci-fi.

I'm really wishing the bubble was a shoulder option instead (or also). That way full face detail availability is preserved and monstrous / animal heads could potentially be used in there as well.

But then we couldn't get actual shoulder options to go along with it, and most of those animal and beast heads are too big for the helmet.

I think it would be great to include it in both/multiple areas/options, so that if one of those prevented a cool use for someone's character, the other one might not (and vice versa).

Of course, I say that as a wanting, needy, greedy player and not a developer that has to go about making that work and all.

This set is looking fantastic and I will definitely be buying at least some of it - I may even buy all of it, just to show my support for how great it is, even though I don't have an immediate use for everything.

You're not the only one, there's a number of parts that would look cool together, but you can't use because they occupy the same slot.

so do we have an idea when we will have this available to us?
yes, I am sure it has been asked, no, I am not reading through 14 pages for it, yes, I realize it is still in development, and yes I realize it is like asking "are we there yet?" over and over but I was that kid and I am damn excited!

Looks great so far Dink! Woo!

I do have a question though. I heard that the bubbled heads would be fixed in terms of the face, but what about the skin colour?

Pinnacle & Virtue:
A bunch of Heroes - Alpha Team, Legion of Order.
A bunch of Villains -Black Citadel , Pinnache.

He said it wouldn't be on like first page that the bubble head was detail 2 so as to allow you to choose face and hair options

my question is since the bubble is detail 2 will the "hood" piece be usable with the bubble?

Yeah, given my druthers, I'd either have them at all the joints (shoulders, elbows, and knees) or none them. Having them only at the shoulder seems kind of off. But I'll still be buying this set day one.

Also, having set shoulders that appear to be part of the suit itself seems like it's going to limit our costume color/pattern/design options.

If they are a separate piece, cool. But, if it's a piece that is part of the suit and ends up limiting our options, much less cool.

That being said, what we've seen so far is pretty neat looking.

My view:
