Im confused, are these weekly featured items going to have items which have been in the store a while too without a discount? If they had a discount on them i could understand, but seems like the reason is to just remind players that the items are there?

not to be a downer but i still think that 480 pts for costume toggle thats mutually exclusive with stealth toggles and does nothing for me except change my appearance is way too much

these powers should not cost more than 160 PP ($2) and i wont bother consider buying them till they are reduced

Thank you for offering these costume powers to people who had no chance to go to these conventions. It's great you hand them out for free during those events, but selling them afterwards in the Paragon Market will be a great way to handle any future costume powers like this.

Am I alone in thinking just would have preferred to have the costumes rather than the be able to transform into them?

Thank you for offering the convention costumes to people who missed them.

I disagree with making them available only for a limited time. It means more people will miss them, and is again artificial scarcity, which I'm not a fan of when it comes to digital assets that cost nothing to reproduce. Because of this, I will not be purchasing the Rikti Mentalist costume, despite my desire for it.

Thank you for creating the Paragon Store and allowing me to "vote with my dollars" on certain decisions without having to unsubscribe to do so.

I still hate the prices for the costume toggles ... but I bought the PPD hardsuit. I got tired of waiting. I'm sorry and I feel dirty. Yes I would have loved the individual pieces...but I'm weak.

You're not but I assume something that large an undertaking would be an Issue# release and not a Issue#.5 or regularly weekly market release.

[Add the usual response about how they can release this as a costume power because it is complete unto itself, but they can not release the parts because they would not fit (or clip) with other pieces that you could combine it with.]

[Add the usual response that they should release it even though it clips because they release enough other stuff that clips.]

I don't understand why people would want these 'powers' (referring to the costume toggles), as they will look exactly like everyone else with this power instead of using the awesome capabilities of the costume creator.

Not that there is anything wrong with wanting these powers, I personally just cannot understand it. Meh, I get to save my money this week.

Yes, I'd much rather have the costume PIECES. Customization is one of the big selling points of the game. Toggles that make me look just like the other guy with a toggle for 480 pts isn't very appealing. When a costume bundle doesn't even cost that much, a non-customizable costume toggle should be much less.

Kudos for bringing these giveaways to everyone else, though. It is better to have it than not at all I suppose.

It'll drive the ebay prices down at least.

Either way, folks that wanted them will enjoy them. Me? I'll be waiting for Gunslinger or [removed] costume set next week? Please?

I would have broke the bank to buy the PP and Rikti costume parts, I will be skipping costume changes though. While some want the full costumes of NPCs, I think most of us just want their parts to use as we with.

I am however glad that you are adding new items to the store every week. I just wish you were adding items I want every week.

Because 480 pts is so much more expensive than travelling to a con or skipping work to take part in an event (and even that is no guarantee you'll get the code).

I don't know if anyone goes to a con just for a temp power, its just a bonus.

Indeed. 480 Points is $6 (US).

I heard from someone who attended the last HeroCon that they were selling old costume codes for $20 apiece in the merch booth, and that they sold out of them. I'm more than happy to pay $6 for the convention codes.

The price isn't overly high for what the product is.

With the exception of like two golden weeks after a code is made available, the market is disgusting on those. I've seen the Rikti codes for $50+ on a fairly regular basis.

I think KAKTOS asked the question and people like Chad Gulzow-Man and terrible_deli answered it. I don't think anyone ever went to those conventions JUST FOR the costume codes, but there has been a steep third party market for these code on eBay and other places. I'd much rather pay $6 back to Paragon Studios than $20+ to a third party scalper. *shrugs*

Costume Codes are not expected to be worthwhile to the general playerbase. They are there to satisfy the few who want them. In fact, they probably don't most players running wearing these (and I don't either).

You got to do a bit better than old costume codes at $6 a pop to separate me from my monies. No items on sale this week?

Where is the martial arts costume bundle??, you have all the pack costume bundles up for sale except the martial arts one. I haven't got those costume pieces yet but am not going to buy them piecemeal.
