Eh, as long as it doesn't lead to Meet the Parents Of The Well.

- and, really... c'mon... *some* non-trial-Incarnate path? I know we had the marketingspeak noncommittal looking into possibly talking with someone over the water cooler about maybe forming a committee to consider a focus group which might sometime mention a discussion over the possibility of a small team/solo incarnate path, but having one *really* would be appreciated. We've got a pile of trials now. Can we maybe, possibly start looking at something else?

Just hope once Omega unlocks we don't get a Paternity Suit from the Well.

That's just begging to pay the conversion charge.

Cat herding is part of the "challenge" if you are a kindergarten teacher. It has no place in an activity done for enjoyment.

I'm not getting these "cat herding" comments. Are the people on your server really that inept? On my server all I'm seeing is back to back successful PuG trial runs, even Keyes. I've lead or helped lead a fair amount of them myself. Yes, there's the occasional mistake or random idiot which can result in some chaos but apart from Mo-badge runs I fail to see the big issue with that.

Just wish they released a bit more info, I mean now I am just at the edge of my seat hoping not to be disappointed.

Also, I hope they add some stuff for Doms in this.

I hope they give us an option to uncraft old Incarnate habilities to craft new ones...
Sure we can grind all over, but come on... Some of us dont have the time.
Cant wait for new Judgment.
I think we can wait for 4 new trees.
I hope they are more balanced, nobody takes Cryonic out of concepts and nobody takes other than Interface
Also I hope they dont come with new crappy salvage.
And supress Shards already, make mobs drops threads.
Stop this madness, Posi.

Yep, same here.

Having a badge because you created/crafted all of x incarnate slot would be cruel for sure (looks at Ouroboros badges...)....well it could happen heh

No new Lore powers?

I am sad now.

((yes I am aware lore got expanded in 20.5, but there are still a ton of possible lore pets to have out there, like Werewolves and Zombies))

I'll /second this. The trials are pretty interesting content but they are a big team commitment, a smaller taskforce or solo path would be nice. I mean I'm still working on my first 50, but it'd be nice if I had a solo Incarnate event to play when I get there, even if it is slower than running the full on Trials.

Are the SSA's considered "solo incarnate content"?

Fixed that for ya. Some people don't think grindy, repetitive things are fun. And personally, almost all of the older hero side Task Force content is just that. Grindy. Repetitive. BORING. Which is why after doing each one two or three times stops -me personally- from doing them any more. I'd rather have actual new content. More mission arcs. Revamp the current TF's like they did Posi's. That one's actually fun again.

And don't get me started on bases. I'd PAY MONEY for a base item pack. With stuff in it that's already in the game world and maps.

It was specifically said by Posi during one of the ustreams that, no, they are not.

Yeah, the SSAs reward incarnate related goodies as an incentive for Level 50's to run them and get a relevant reward

Bull. The Trials don't go that fast.

An Astral Merit is not a "relevant reward" when it comes to working down an Incarnate Path. It's a small drop in a huge bucket. To borrow a euphemism, "It takes a long time to get to England in a rowboat."

They're planning better solo-friendly Incarnate content for an undisclosed release in the future. It still won't be as fast as running Incarnate Trials--they've said that the trials are always going to be the main, intended way for players to earn and expand upon their Incarnate abilities--but it'll be better than running the Signature Story Arcs for one Astral every week.

If you're actually taking as long to finish the trials as most groups do to get started in the first place...you're either taking them awfully leisurely, or you've got like ten dual-boxers in your group.

Another trial in the continuing polemic that is Praetoria, a.k.a., "If you're not part of the solution, you're part of the problem, wretch!"-land. This one will presumably have some thinly-veiled references to real-world media outlets, and I suspect I can predict Maelstrom's dialogue now ... All that said, it might still be mechanically interesting, and new Incarnate abilities might have some potential. Also, "Media Blitz" is not only funny, but also one of the best issue titles we've had in a long time!

Relevant as in, pertains to. It's more incentive for 50's to run them than for the reward merits or align merits (if a toon can even get an a. merit, rogues and vigilantes obviously excluded). I made no comment to the usefulness or size of the reward.

I would not mind if they added some more. I am only three away from having all the VR core lore pets.

Nice to see new trials but one thing keeps bugging me:

Why isn't Praetoria retaliating toward us? They have sent strike forces in so that's fine, but so far our Primal Forces have invaded Lambda Sector, the Behavioural Adjustment Facility, Keyes Island and the Undergound, yet nothing is happening on our side.

Not to put too fine a point on it, but when a sovereign nation is attacked in the real world, there is either some heavy diplomacy going on or an invasion in retaliation. I find it extremely hard to believe that Cole is just taking this all in, even with the conceits of a City of Heroes and so on.
