Do the points earned per month show as 400 on the market screen even if you are entitled to 550 because of vet status?

Hi Guys,

well as it is now 4 and a half months since I was due my anniversary badge and my dates are still all over the place I thought I would go and check out my account and see what has been credited and when.

Surprise surprise (irony!) the account site is down for maintenance, with no timescales for return!

Well, I think I got a Reward Token sometime between last Wednesday and today. When did I get it? No idea.

In other news... My billing date was the 3rd. I got my points (according to the account log... I don't remember what I spent them on, but I must have used them. lol) on the 4th. I got my Reward Token and monthly badge on the 24th. I'm still waiting for the free server transfer.

I think I'm in the same boat, except I think it was more narrowed down between Sunday and Wednesday. Billing date is the 9th (now and for the past 2 years?), registration date was the 24th years ago.

I might be crazy, but I think we are getting closer to figuring out this puzzle. Good one NCSoft. Good one.

I would hate to see how NCSoft figures out a crossword puzzle. Just randomly putting in words that are the same length?

A lot depends on if I get my points on the 4 th as promised 2 months running now.I will keep reporting it here if they fail again and keep opening support tickets. It seems a useless waste of support time and money to keep forcing players to jump thru hoops to get a promised product.

That's under the assumption that a human is at all involved in the support tickets. If it's cut-n-paste automated responses, but with a random GM "name" on it, it probably doesn't cost them anything.

If CS is outsourced to India or China or whereever, it is also probably cheaper to handle support than to actually fix the issue. *shrug*

I guess I'm an optimist. I want to believe that the game I love wants to keep me as a customer. The last two responese I got from A GM did not seem canned they actually seemed to be written by a human who understood the problem and talked about how there game play. If it was canned it was well done.

I got the same run-around this month...

Points came way early though...8 days before my bill date! However...the token...2nd of Feb and stll nothing. When I petitioned this time I was told oh, you don't get that until the 8th of Feb, yu got your last one Jan 8th.

Uh..that's because the one on Jan 8th was granted more than a week late from December. Then I got this loooooooooooooong winded reply that made it seem like I only get 1 token every other month. Um...wha...? O.o

I give up, I really do. They're going to award me what they damn well feel like, or so that was the impression that I got.

Prior to Freedom, I would've agreed with you. Now? Not so much. This half-assery and neither hand knowing what they are doing is, IMO, an indicator of deeper problems within the company.

I had to ask for my ticket to be escalated and within 24 hours my missing reward token was granted.

I truly wish they would get this under control and automated so that it is timely and accurate.

I would have to agree with you , someone should have gotr this under control before now. They need a hand on the rudder instead of eveyone rowing in circles.

This is neither costing them money nor making them any money. Therefore it's not going to get any attention until after the things which are costing them money or making them money get addressed.

Goodwill of the player base doesn't have an entry on the ledger sheet apparently.

I would think the support time wasted on this month after month would be some expense - maybe small but it takes away from other support functions. And it will not make them money from me as I refuse to buy anything till the promised points are fixed.. And I agree player goodwil must count for nothing. Just a simple we are working on a fix - we are sorry might count for something.

To be honest, I'd be pretty satisfied with those badges just going away. It's the same problem as the old Veteran Badges -- a theoretically infinite series of badges, which means unless you've been subbed since Day 1 you'll always be behind. Which is counterintuitive to what This calculator link says. It says, according to the time I've been subbed, I should have 7 yearly vet badges. But wait. It doesn't bother to tell me that I really don't have that 7th yearly vet badge because F2P broke that back in September.

This is extremely disheartening that we can't get an official answer for something that's been broken for almost 6 months. If the yearly vet badges cannot be fixed then they should be removed.

I personally like the fact that I have been subbed since day 1 and want the badge to show it.

I also want the year 1 badge to be account wide so my villains can also enjoy them, so if the dev's could make that so I would appreciate it.

It's the fifth - my billing date is the 4th - no points as promised the last two months. No offical anouncement - nothing. Why promise a product and not deliver it? I saw about Zwillingers's comment on a Triumph channel. One server channel comment does not make an anoouncement. It's nice they are charging ful steam ahead but fix the annoying things before they destroy all trust in Paragon Studios.
So I filed yet another support ticket.
