I remember him posting quite frequently on the forums. You're right, Turg, a lot of folks move on and one just kind of figures they went on to other things.

He was a huge Doctor Who fan, as evidenced by his handle and forum avatars. I thoroughly enjoyed reading his posts, even when he was criticizing my work.

I'd not known him for long myself, we'd passed PM's on here, especially when he was getting grief from people for his prolific posting on this section (I mean, seriously, he got some harsh stuff said to him just because he loved the genre so much and wanted to share the news with people?? How mad was that??!)
It's a sad day to hear news like this, it really is, and I can never find the right words for times like these, so all I will say is, if there was ever a sci-fi geek that deserved regeneration, he was one of them.

It's always sad to hear of someone passing. I also remembering seeing LoT's frequent posts here and I enjoyed reading most of them.
Never a good thing to see someone you "knew" pass on. Thought and condolences to his family and friends.
We would email each other on these forums and scoop each other a lot, I noticed he hasn't posted much anymore.. This is really sad day he was a really nice guy.. god speed.

I'd also wondered where he'd gone, but with all the brouhaha and nerdragequitting and whatnot, I'd thought he'd just chosen to go quietly and with some dignity. I didn't realize that when he'd left that way, he'd left permanently.
Hopefully now, he is happily enjoying himself at the great Comic Book Convention in the Sky, where he can cheerfully argue with the creators whose works he'd so loved. Think of it this way - he reached Incarnate level. Time to move on to the heavy hitters.

i never interacted with him directly, but i always enjoyed reading his posts.
i hadn't given his lack of posts much thought; pretty much assuming he'd simply stopped subbing for far more ordinary (and nonfatal) reasons.
