I like all the AT's (minus Khelds >P), but my favorite would have to be (perma)Doms. I like Control/Dmg a lot, and love my Plant/Thorns and Earth/Fire doms.
I really hope that the coming Dom "Surprise" is Dark/Dark, and not Illusion. I love my Ill/Cold and Ill/Rad trollers (loved my Ill/Ta before I stripped it and sent it to a random server to die), but I'm a bit sick of Illusion now.

So very hard to choose favorites, but I will echo the earlier (perma)dom reply.
Favorite: Mind/Psy/Soul dom, with void/reactive(-res)/phantasm/rebirth
Control? Best in the game. Damage? good to excellent. Debuffs? Floors regen, recovery, has consistent -resistance. Pets? why not. Healing? Sure, with +regen
Second is my Fire/Fire/Fire dominator, with pyronic/reactive(+fire)/drones/rebirth
This has okay control, but ridiculous damage, both AoE and ST. Permanent rain of fire, AoE attack chain, blaze up every other attack, fiery embrace up 2/3rds of the time, healing for what comes through, it's a blast. Of Fire. Constantly.
Favorite AT: Controller
Favorite powerset: Earth Control with Illusion a very close second.

I love almost everybody. But my favorite AT, overall, is probably...
Brutes.
I love in-your-face melee fighting, and so Scrappers are a really close second, but Brutes win because I love their potential. I don't mind being a slow starter, when it means that I can work my way up to "unstoppable, earth-shaking, engine of destruction".
Narrowing it down to powersets becomes much harder. Just looking at what I've used, it seems like I really like Electric Melee, since I've used it in several places, will be building yet another character with it come i21, and it's the only single powerset that I have multiple characters using it at level 50. My feelings don't quite back that up, though. I love the set, don't get me wrong, and for whatever reason, it's easy to fit into a concept. But I think if I had to narrow it down to one, my all-around favorite single Powerset...it'd probably be Super Strength. It just looks, and feels powerful, as a perfect match to my own favored playstyle.

Nearly all of the time, it's whichever one I happen to be playing at that moment. That's a strong testament to how well made the ATs and Powersets are these days.

I'm a huge fan of Brutes and Tankers. There's nothing quite like herding up a huge crowd of enemies and systematically ripping it apart. It's like building a snowman just to kick it over.
Within that, I don't really have a favourite powerset combo. I like Shield Defense a lot, but as far as a melee pairing to go with it, I just go with whatever I want and have some fun with the smashing.

My favorite AT is defenders. My favorite defender is Storm.
I also have a very soft spot in my... head for Robots, so my favorite character is Bots/storm.
I love the MMs, and Defenders sooooo much.

Blasters, hands down. 4 out of 5 of my 50s are blasters.
Ice Blast is my favorite power set. Nothing is more fun than being able to hold Bosses AND inflict crazy amounts of damage upon them.

I often find myself logging on to a character just to check bids or badges or whatnot, and thinking, "Look at all these cool superpowers! Well, it won't take long to run out and try X," and next thing I know it's bedtime and I've just finished a Task Force with random strangers.
Sometimes it seems like changing AT and powersets really revives my interest in playing. for example, I'll go from a Stone/Stone Tanker to an Energy/Energy Blaster with no defense bonuses, or an Elec/Shield Scrapper. Variety is the spice of alts!

Ma/scrapper. before buying he game i had to make sure it had a MA class.
Controllers - Every control set except Gravity and any secondary.
H: Blaster 50, Defender 50, Tank 50, Scrapper 50, Controller 50, PB 50, WS 50
V: Brute 50, Corruptor 50, MM 50, Dominator 50, Stalker 50, AW 50, AS 50
Top 4: Controller, Brute, Scrapper, Corruptor
Bottom 4: (Peacebringer) way below everything else, Mastermind, Dominator, Blaster
CoH in WQHD
For me, so far, I would have to say either my bots/dark MM, or my MA/Regen scrapper.
My MM is only level 26 though, and my scrapper is level 9 lol.
I kind of want to see what other people like to play and why! So post up!
