As time passes and you don't get the information you want to hear - you start to eat your own. That is not mature or heroic and is beneath most of you with the exception of someone who has Evil in their freaking name folks.

You can join the noise to help save the game or you can sit in the back looking for places to sink your daggers - I couldn't care less. I know who is expending time, money and effort and who is sitting on their keyboard at mom's house whinging because they hate their life - its not Mercedes Lackey.

I am not mad - I never was. NCSoft is a business and they make choices that affect people's lives and they don't do it out of malice.

It is our job to show them that they would rather have us on their side as happy, lively and motivated players than against them as angry consumers. I have written my letters to NCSoft and am willing to help fund a new startup that takes over the IP.

However, make no mistake on November 30th these servers will turn off.

Our efforts are focused to getting another company to turn them on again. It is really that simple. I will play the game as I have since day one with one goal - FUN!

When they boot me in November this game has given me so very much fun, more than any other game I have played in my 53 years. I will watch the final sunset with all of you.

I had the idea to scale enemies to the level of the mission owner.

We were discussing how to stop power-leveling and I suggested everyone be either equal to the mission holder or at -1 and then everyone can help.

With a force of 500,000 men the Nadir stood before the gates of Dros Delnoch. The most powerful fortress ever build. Because of politics the fort was poorly manned and now the end was nigh.

Druss a 60 year old hero, fat now with a bum knee and shoulder climbed down the first wall and approached the Khan of the Nadir. The Khan welcomed Druss to his camp as was the custom for a peaceable meal. Druss sat and they discussed the coming battle and the Khan said,"If you open the gates I will spare every man."

Druss replied,"I know you would for I admire you and wish I had served under you."
The Khan mused,"Yet you will not open the gate and so 30,000 of your men will die."
Druss snarled,"Many of your dog soldiers will also lie dead!"
The Khan smiled and said,"I expect nothing else but why must so many men die?"

Druss smiled now and replied, "If I showed up at the Dros and it was empty and the gate open do you think I would allow you to enter without a fight?"

"Ah, I understand now and yet it saddens me," the Khan sighed.

Druss stood up and declared,"I will stand because someone must always stand when they think wrong is being done. Whether you fall at the first blow or not doesn't matter."

Druss was right and I have always stood whether it was popular, costly to myself or had other consequences. I will do what I can to both make the remaining days for the players fun and heroic and I will do what I can to save a vestige of this fine game even if it is just the joy of the fight.

If I had a sick friend who was slowly dying and had 90 days to live - I would not kill myself to spare the wait.

I would spend a lot of time with them and not wallowing in pity - we would enjoy as well as we could what time was left.

For those who are all - what about the Devs you guys suck wanting the game without the Devs!

Without the GAME alive no Devs are needed.

Once the GAME is saved and running whoever takes it would sooner or later NEED the experience of the current Devs. If the GAME is not saved, neither are the Devs.

But some people just like to avoid logic.

I suggested the idea of making the level be equal to the mission holders and having everyone else his level thereby destroying the bridge method of power-leveling, but allowing people to actually help instead of being -5.

My Energy/Energy blaster loves you Devs for making that proc.

I was able to team now with not a single word said about knockback. I put mine in Torrent and since most of them are now on the ground with my opening salvo the other knockback powers have little effect!

If you open up an AE style interface for PvP where the players can make maps and adjust powers then the PLAYERS would balance it.

I also made a Beam/Energy and have him to 38.

I find it is extremely obvious when I start hitting the AV's. I had Clamor down a full 25% before the rest of the team got to the fight. Disintegrate really does melt single hard targets.
