War Mace revamp.

Dominator Attack Set revamp (the snipe increase to 20s and 3.56 ds was not my idea but almost everything else was in my list.)

Invulnerability losing it's Unyielding self -Def at the expense of minimally reducing the +def in Invincibility

Taunt inflicting -Range as a way to manipulate critters in getting closer to you.

Now will never see the light of day, but Bio's adaptation procs (heal on defense, end on efficiency, toxic damage on offensive.)

Thats all I can think off the top of my head.

I also stole Arcanavilles idea for endurance free Brawl, told the idea to Castle and credited Arcanaville for it, of course. He added it the same day, Arcanaville was shocked on the quick introduction of that into the patch notes.

I am convinced that the Assault Rifle overhaul was due to my forum excitement and bragging. It was done in the very next update after I created several posts about how insane my fulcrum-shifted Ignite was since I could stack it every 4 seconds during the superteam supergroup Brutal Speed was created. The entire set was then intentionally rebalanced around Ignite.

I helped with getting Repulsion Bomb changed from ally-targetted KB + stun to mob-targetted KB + stun + damage to mob-targetted (low mag) KB + stun + damage.

That's about it.

My only other lasting contribution was, during i5's beta, that we slot Dark Servant for ToHit debuff.

So. A series of contributions to a power in a set no one plays. And a suggestion that no one remembers as having come from me 'cause I was one of ...those ... FF people.

I know that I had the Titan Weapons cursed sword and the Staff Fighting trident added. Both were ideas that I gave Nakayama through one of his art threads. I was pretty glad my SG, The Empire Of Atlantis, got that trident in the end. Glad we got Water Blast in the end too .

Despite everyone saying I was crazy, a small group of players, including myself, helped the dev team track down a bug that was affecting the drop rates of salvage and recipes. Apparently it had been in the game since those elements existed, but for some reason one of the Issue releases (I forget which one) caused it to go all higgledy-piggledy.

We persisted in collecting data from the live servers and they found the bug.

Also -- I really wanted stores in Kings Row, which eventually got added.

And I suggested a "Prison Break" task force or event from the Zig about two months into the game, which almost got added.

Hell im not sure, but with the sheer quantity of ranting I did in 8 years something must have stuck.

I still think that my bragging about Drain Psyche and all the awesome out of control things I was doing on my Archery/Mental Blaster (anyone remember those 20 page threads I started? You were probably one of the people spitting venom at me!) had a lot to do with the other secondaries getting buffed. Well, would have, if it ever actually happened.

Also *ducks from flying rocks, trash, etc.*

Well, to be fair, we lost more than 5% defense in Invincibility if you had it slotted and saturated.

Just after the infamous enhancement "diminishing returns" revamp, I PMed Statesman with an idea. I said how cool it would be for enhancements to have alternate effects: slot three accuracies and have a slight boost to your endurance rate, or gain some recharge for slotting damage reduction SOs.

Much to my surprise, Statesman responded!

"That sounds pretty cool", he said.

"I'll look into it."

I never added anything physical to the game but I did push hard to make in-game events bigger and more awesome in the early days.

All the folks who did (and still do) work for CoH dedicated Radio Stations did a lot to push the community forward. If it weren't for those "DJ's" out there from all the different stations we may have never seen much in the way of Dev involvement at the 1st Anniversary Party or all the great events that came afterwards.

That one took me almost a year to get through, and yea that sort of was the only way I managed to convince Castle to get the penalty off Unyielding, via a compromise that resulted in the strongest possible invuln weaker, not stronger.

My post was something along the lines of "I would gladly give up every bit of resistance in Unyielding for the ability to move while tanking."

They just did it in two stages: Stage One, you can move. Stage two, two issues later...

What do you need to move for?

It's not like you regularly teamed up with two Energy Blasters, a Grav Controller and a Kinectics Defend..Oh.

I re-designed Trina in Pocket D.

Post-Apoc costume set in production was my suggestion.

I got to write Captain Mako Week. Ie: I made Mako a brony.

I believe my suggestions on how the Black Knights looked drab caused more colors to be used in them. I am not sure.

I'm pretty sure massive weapons are in the game because of Samuel_Tow's insistence. I lobbied hard for fluffy tails that eventually became the Wolf Tail. I also suggested the "layers of clothing" thing that we eventually got, but I'm not sure that one counts.

I added Punchvoke for Tanks, base teleporters, the mouse-over ability on the Enhancements screen, Stalkers and Brutes. Also increasing SG membership from 75 characters to 75 accounts. (Of course, my SGs imploded right after that, so I'm not sure how that shook out.)

One of my first suggestions was a speech contest for the first anniversary. Several rednames posted in that thread that they thought it was a good idea, and CoH had a speech contest to commemorate the 1st anniversary. I think the winning speech is still on the web somewhere.

I may as well add mine. I added my voice to numerous stuff that everyone asked for (Stores on the map, dual pistols, powerset diversification/proliferation, punchovoke, Arachnos EAT). But two things I know I helped add:

One is trivial, but fun. BaBs was refusing to add a Main Gauche to both hands of dual blades, due to the name. I posted 'So call it Main Droite' and he PM'd me:

The other is more important to me. Back in 2007 (wow,thought it was later than that), I PM'd Hero1 about how I wished what we did made more difference to the NPCs and stories, so that they would know the history of our characters and respond accordingly. He very nicely replied thusly:

Yeah, you hit on a really solid idea there. Having a Contact know if you've done something special or that you are someone special really does connect the player more to the game. It gives the player a little reward for being who they are.

Now comes the 'but'. The problem we have, like so many other things in our game, is that the tech just isn't there for it and the time on the designer ("me&quot side isn't there either. As I'm writing this, I'm trying to think of how we would make that work in our current system and I'm not coming up with anything.

Granted, now that we're under one roof (NCsoft) that may change. I get the sense that NCsoft is really going to get behind this license and try and make it the best it can be. So, be patient and if you see a Contact out there some day named Darkspeed with context specific dialog, you can take full credit for it.
That really made me love the Devs and feel the community had a part to play in development.

Quite a few things, but one suggestion in particular still resonates daily in this game:

Alerts for Giant Monsters/Events.

From "Unusual Clockwork activity" to all the Rikti/Zombie/Nemesis invasion to all the "Supernatural activity" alerts.

I think those alerts made this city feel real to me.
