I say for the next move we pick a day where every player makes an all black costume.

This is a contrast from the other movement where we shows the light - this one is to represent the coming darkness. Show them how bad this world would look without color and life.

I am already playing my all Black Dark/Dark controller named December 1

Instead of black, why not do a themed costume.

How about a Paragon Noir day with everyone wearing Grayscale colors (1st row of the color chart only)

Or a Steampunk day using Browns.

Or Sci Fi day

Or Beast day

Or Robots/Cyborg

Or Ninjas

Or Zombies

I think the greyscale idea is the one. I... may just do that anyway. As a 'black band on the arm' sort of thing.
