That's a great - there are a lot of awesome AE creators who have had to stop producing new stuff because they've maxed out their current slots.

Sounds good. Just hope the overall culture surrounding AE is improved at some point.

If you're a VIP player and you complete a Signature Story Arc, then go Premium, will you be able to do that arc again through Ouroboros or will you have to buy it/resubscribe again to access it.
1. This is the tale...of Captain Jack Sparrow...

2. If you go premium and do not purchase the arc as a Premium Player you will lose access to the Sig Story Arc missions. Access to Sig Story arcs is dependent on either being VIP or Having purchased a license.

I should have taken better notes about the Paragon Rewards based on what I saw at Comic Con, but I think that (and a couple other new rewards) are still account wide, whereas the T9 stuff with the circulating arrows drawn around them are for individual characters.

But no, I've not seen redname commentary specifically on this. I'm going off of memory of what I saw last weekend, which may or may not change prior to the release. And, of course, there was a lot going on, so my memory may be slightly flawed.
I saw the build at SDCC as well didn't play with the reward system too much, but as you understand it we will have to fill the tree for each toon? If so if I select the tier 9 VIP costume pieces which as I understand are account wide on one toon I can select another tier 9 on another? Or will the consumables be made into a voucher in which only one toon can claim?

If the later is the case, as it most likely will be, my best guess is the tier 9s will be account wide whereas the consumables from the market will be a character based voucher.

Does this mean that whenever the server lags to heck and back, we can blame the person on the team with the most badges?

Five more costume slots on all characters???

Twelve more character slots per server???????

That said, thanks for the higher character slot cap.

[edit: I honestly think the cap should be doubled to 72, and we should be able to filter our character select screen by alignment]

People have complained for years that having only 10 slots made doing massive respec swapping hard because you could only pull out 10 at a time. Now we'll be able to pull out 30 at a time. Thank goodness for small favors.
I think you will be right, but having 3 trays of enhancements doesn't automatically mean the interface for respecs supports 3 trays....

I don't suffer from altitis, I enjoy every minute of it.

Thank you Devs & Community people for a great game.

So sad to be ending ):

I would suspect that if the respec interface doesn't support the purchased trays that someone's gonna have some 'splainin' to do.

If the game spit out 20 dollar bills people would complain that they weren't sequentially numbered. If they were sequentially numbered people would complain that they weren't random enough.

Day late and a dollar short -- extra slots aren't worth much now that the farmers have won.

You, sir, have just earned all my money.

I'll start immediately writing tons of new arcs to be published the day Issue 21 goes live.

The onslaught will be vast and terrible, an all-encompassing narrative engine from which nothing escapes, not matter, not light, not sound. You are unprepared for the hell you have unleashed. Bewarn'd. Ahahahaha etc.

This issue is looking better and better all the time, guys

One thing: I notice the picture has an item called Cyborg Arm Costume Piece. It made me think of those "Robotic Arm" upper body options... since you're making changes to the costume creator anyway, is there any chance those could get reworked into "Alternate Arm" options instead? One for left, one for right, and one for both, so you can choose which arm is unique. That way you could have additional types of arms, like demonic or infected, or you could even have bare arms with an armored torso, for example.

No no no. This is an incorrect use of the phrase 'beg the question.'

Sorry to be pedantic, but this error in use has become so ubiquitous in the popular vernacular, it bears correction.

You should say, "raises the question."

To beg the question is to commit a specific fallacy in logic. It is more commonly known as the circular argument, when a premise presupposes the very conclusion it ostensibly leads to.

Q. Just wondering Posi, where are the new dance emotes we were told would come with GR?
A. Positron: Whoops, my bad.

1387 badges, and counting

Follow-up to this, so I can wrap my head around it.

The "which hero will die?" arc is, from information around, going to be about 8 months long.

VIPs will have access to the complete stories as long as they are subscribed.

Premium players have to unlock them. Does this mean:
1) A premium player can unlock episodes 1, 3, 7, and 8 permanently.
-OR-
2) Unlock all available stories for that arc of stories (1-8, after it is "done") for only a month at at time.
How you are phrasing that could be interpreted either way... If it is the first, will there be a bundle for each signature arc?

I think it's better to say "2 more enhancement trays" - that reduces the chances of confuion over what exactly is being given to us

Just for storage, not to enhance your powers with.

Not saying you're confused specifically, but there have been others earlier in the thread that were...

Insert "Look at all the starred-out-words I give" image macro here.

Way I see it, those who still enjoy stories in AE, like me, like plenty of others, will continue to use it for that. The existence of farms sucks, but they are not going to stop me and won't stop people who want to play good arcs.

(Now, I may run head on into the censorship filter a few times, but I can work within limits. I thrive within limits.)

Can't wait for Issue 21. This is really going to revitalize how COH works as a whole!

Ok, this may have been answered before but I haven't seen it so I wanted to ask...

Will players that maintain a VIP account be able to purchase items that they have acces through being VIP but would loose if they go premimum? So lets say as a VIP I have access to all power sets and AT's, but if I drop to premimum I would loose some of these; will I be able to purchase access to these while still maintaining the VIP or would I have to let the account slip into premimum before I can buy them?

I ask because I also play another MMO that has the VIP/Premimum/Free2Play model, but VIP accounts cannot buy content granted by the VIP status, they have to let the account slip to premimum first.

Still no info if the preexisting booster packs will be available at the store for an equivalent number of points ($9.99 pack for 800 PP) or are we forced to go a la cart.

I'm a little confused.
It says the enhancement trays are account wide. Does that mean they apply to current and new characters made on the account?

As well with the additional character slots. I did buy for up to 36 slots on a server right now and have 5 veteran reward character slots I can unlock on a server. Will I just need to buy 7 additional slots to get up to 48 on the server, or do I need to go in for the full 12?

Either way, you've got me spending a few dollars at launch. Even with my VIP free points, I doubt it'll be enough for me to buy the additional premium powers and the costume slots and the enhancement trays and the character slots.
