The fact that he made it after folks had REQUESTED it was enough. And my original point, which you veered away from, was that there is room for both aesthetics-based powers and REGULAR travel powers.
The FACT that many people REQUESTED walk and PRAISED BaBs for it, shows that there is definitively a desire for both.
The fact that folks suggested POSES in THIS VERY thread is further proof. Not every travel item requested needs to have time spent animating all the various poses for it just cause some folks want to fight while having that power. Some would be okay just as poses or the way they did RocketBoard.

You already have a "sit on bike" pose (the bruiser uses it) it shouldn't need much tweaking for the female/male rigs. A rocket bike could hover and strafe and you could do a cool in-out of "stealth" thing when it's toggled/detoggled.
Use the same all-powers-off effect from walk to stop people trying to use it in combat and to remove the need for sitting-while-using-powers animations.
_Many_ of my natural characters would love this, I will give you money for this!

While we're talking about shapeshifting travel powers, can we have a "turn into a bat" flight power that disallows all other powers (but doesn't turn toggles off, just suppresses them), with a near-instant transformation animation?

*Something like the Hobgoblin/Green Goblin glider, sort of a mini-aircraft you can stand on. Make it long, wide and overall big.
*A floating platform. Kind of like before, but instead of a directed aerodynamic design, make it a perfectly symmetrical spherical platform, possibly with machinery underneath. Like I'm standing on top of a flying saucer.
*A simple metal disk. Just a flat, metal disk with no machinery or angular forms on it. But don't make it one micron thick. either make it have width, or otherwise make it taper kind of like two cymbals squashed together.
*A cloud. Son Goku had his Kintoun, and I'd like to see something like that. Just a small cloud - say the size of Storm Cloud from Storm Summoning - that we stand on to glide.
*Some kind of flapping bird. There are many options here - an ordinary bird (or even Null the Gull), a pterodactyl, a wyvern, some kind of mutated bat, basically anything which can flap its wings - and why not with the same animation that we do - so that we can fly on a living animal.
*Shard of crystal. Just a giant shard of floating crystal that we stand on and glide around on. It could be ice, jade or even rock, as alternatives.
*A... Surf board?

Fly is a great power with lots of costume possibilities for customization without needing to design an entirely new power around it. The biggest problem is designing new poses for things like broomsticks, hover/jet bikes, or flying mounts because a sitting position could require new animations for all the powers.

Since theres a Backpack option now, any idea when a fix for the Arachnos Soldier crab backpack will be?
