Quoting from the costume redesign thread:

Whoever designed that particular costume piece deserves to earn royalties every time someone uses it. Devs, this is my unsubtle way of saying keep making pieces like this one. While all of the chest detail pieces are good, this one really stands out for its versatility. Who's with me? (And Thirty-Seven, whose post I've hijacked).

I approve of this message.

Nice!

And yeah that piece is great. Power cables, extra detail, breathers, it works in so many places!

Wanted: Origin centric story arcs.
If you've only played an AT once (one set combo) and "hate" it - don't give up. Roll a different combo. It may just be those sets not clicking for you.

It is indeed a great piece, but I really really wish it wasn't just a chest piece but instead a full wrap around thing which covered the back too.Plenty of the other armours in the "chest detail" section do, why not this one?

But I am not capable of wearing both the clockwork chestpiece and a tuxedo jacket.

Not added so much as she already had one from character creation.

I also have a love of those shoulder pieces, Overlord I think they're called? Used them loads since i18 (more than the clockwork chest piece in fact).

Clockwork chest is a nice piece.

My personal vice is Valkyrie 3 shoulders. They're low profile so you can effectively add them to a lot of costumes to add a little heft and visual interest without radically changing the design. "Small" shoulders work as well but they have a tendency to "float" if you don't adjust the sliders.

All of the new ones and the ones especially using the 'glow' effect are really cool. Of course, I want to add anything Tron-inspired to that list...because those costumes rock my world.

While you're telling him that, remind him that there's a huge costume request thread with his name on it that he might want to consider paying some attention to ... I'd like to see a great deal of those suggestions come to fruition before more oversized shoulder globes and pads.
Thanks!

Trenchcoats! Military ones! That you can wear jackets under!
How much do I have to beg, threaten, kvetch, grovel and/or murder people until that happens? D=

Oh, and the new IDF armour that got screenshotted. Please, tell me we get access to that?

This costume wins the thread.

And yes, that chest piece is awesome. I use it a lot too.

I was disappointed he didn't appear in his video podcast persona of "Nice Axe" but I could just see how that conversation would go:

"So, nice axe,..."
"Thanks, I work out."
"No, I mean, I wanted to ask you, nice axe..."
"Distracting isn't it? (/em flex) but lets try to stay on topic. you were saying?"
"I uh, nevermind... anyway, nice ax...
