Anyone else want the winterevent extended?

If you're like me, you've probably been working sooooooo much the last 2 weeks that you haven't had time to really work on the event for your characters. Always seems to be a big time squeeze during the week before Christmas and the time afterwards with certain jobs now days, mine included.

With that said, how about extending the event duration another week or 2? Last years event ran for so much longer and there was more time to get things done. Not like it would hurt anyway to have more stuff to do between waiting on issue 20.

Other than having a few of my guys take on Lady Winter, I've not participated at all in this year's winter event and have in fact been absent for most of it. A slight case of the Ho Ho Humbug, as it were. I would not mind at all, however, if it was extended a bit for those still enjoying it.

Likewise, today (or rather tonight) will be the first time since the event started that I may be able to get on and play. I'd like to see it extended for 1 week.

Other than these, and helping a friend get his Red Cap daggers, I've mostly ignored the event. *shrug* I don't really care *when* it goes away - unless there's a winter lord right by a contact or mission door, at which point having it done and gone is more appealing.

I'd like it extended. My partner just got back into Going Rogue, but she rejoined the day before yesterday. With New Year's Eve and all other such things, we haven't been able to go on that many in-game dates...

As long as it doesn't delay any patches (don't think there are any upcoming on the test server) sure, go right ahead.

I'm just tired of having to dodge all the lonely Winterlords that have been abandoned in all the lowbie zones. I'm event'd out.

2 weeks is plenty long enough. I'm not in favor of an extension.

Please, do not extend the event. Not enough people actually participate in them to make an extension anything more than a bother

I wouldn't be so insistent if they just opened the ski chalet permanently though. It's the mean reason I want it extended.

Espically for the ski slopes. Despite sucking at them.

I'm in the middle of my work weekend and can't log in till after it's over. With vacations, family events, work weekends, and over 50 alts left to go, another 2 weeks would be fabulous.

I agree that the Winter Event should be extended, at the very least, through January 6th (which is Christmas to orthodox Christians).

I also wouldn't mind if the ski lodge were accessible from the beginning of the Winter Event through February 2nd (Candlemas/Imbolc/St Brigid's Day) or even through the end of winter (20 or 21 March). Just "hide" Father Time and the Candy Keeper when the Winter Event ends and leave the ski lodge open longer

There's really no reason to. 2 Weeks is a long time for not a whole lot of stuff to do.

Ski Slopes on my server haven't even been competitve this year, *sighs*

Eh, don't really care. This year I about totally ignored it with the exception of opening 1 present near me to stop the humming sound (while I waited for the team to form).

In my perfect game world, the ski chalet would just be left open all year round (minus mission contacts and probably the candy cane store), along with some new addition on the other side of the club. The club is in a pocket dimension created by DJ Zero; there's no reason why it can't expand!

As for the event being extended? Don't really care either way. It's a fairly unobtrusive event.
