Yep.

If they wanted it to really shock people, they'd make it a surprise, not tell people weeks/months ahead. People would just be going along and WHAMMO! Sue gets hit by a falling anvil.

They ALL float down here. When you're down here with us, you'll float too!

Are they also going to have a team consisting of Wolverine, Wolverine, Wolverine, and Wolverine?

No, that's the X-Men.

"I may," he said with a grin that would have sent sane men scampering for the trees, "have been imagining it."

It'll probably be Mister Fantastic. With all the stuff he's been messing up since he joined the Illuminati and whatnot he has it coming.

The Thing is safe because he's on the Avengers.

Invisible Woman is safe because if she's gone then her two reality-bending children would become neglected (again cause Mr. Fantastic is terribad) and turn into evil reality-bending teenagers that get assassinated by X-Force.

The Human Torch...isn't relevant enough to really add a ripple to the Marvel Universe.

I've never read a Fantastic Four comic, but I'll call this right now:

Even though Richard Reed brought this on, his enemies will kill Sue as a way of sending a message or otherwise holding him accountable. The comics will be about the guilt that he carries around, and everything will think that it's really dark and edgy that the wife was removed from the comic. Again.

The moment Spider-man took of his mask I have stopped reading Marvel comics.

Will the removal of one of the team, does the Fantastic Four become the Threesome?

Hmmm. I'm stuck thinking it'll be Johnny or Ben. Though the removal of the fire throwing hero, lets not figure out how he's not burning people alive, could be what they're doing.

But Marcian's theory seems like it might be the way for them to go.

Hmmm...got to thinking...Reed dies. Doom takes his place as resident genius! Gets with Sue! Loses the scars, starts to grey at the temples. Loses his memory and thinks he's Reed. the they retcon it never happened as Doom attacks!

Reed and Doom admit their love for each other and sneak off. Sue finds out, goes psycho, and wipes out a major city with one of Reed's little toys in order to kill them both.

It'll be Sue because all women eventually end up in refrigerators.

they say it'll cause ripples to coarse (sp?) through the Marvel Universe?

$10 says it's The Thing that dies.

That needs to be a mini-series right now!

The Watcher enlists the aid of Wolverine, Days of Future Past Wolverine, Vampire Wolverine, and X-Babies Wolverine in order to stop some cosmic threat. Something involving Galactus or Dormammu or Mephisto. The only stipulation is that the Wolvie-Team must fight an army of murderous fluffy, pink bunnies at some point.

You havn't missed much with FF Marcian, which is why they're removing one of the members. But there has been really good moment with Richard when he was talking to Pym recently. [ Here ]
And for that even Pym is on the list of potential assassins for this arc.

That's a good theory. I revise my personal theory crafting to add the Invisible Woman as a candidate due to proxy revenge.

Not Sue. She eventually ends up in dominatrix gear.

i think i skimmed through a "What IF" comic recently that used that same premise. Or maybe it was Tony Stark and Doctor Doom. Also didn't the Ultimate Fantastic Four use the Victor and Reed switching bodies/roles thing a couple years ago?

i predict that whatever the storyline death will be it will be terribly done and very temporary.

Dr. Todt's theme.
i make stuff...

You lasted longer than I did. I stopped reading after Decimation began.

Because without them, they have nobody for Doom to mess with.
