Multiple prizes, actually. Inside the box was a copy of the City of Heroes Going Rogue Complete Collection, which features City of Heroes, City of Villains, and the latest expansion for Ncsoft's superhero MMO. There was also a Heroclix figure, a graphic novel, and a relatively flattering sketch of myself in superhero gear.

At least I think that's me. It's missing the plugs and the nose ring. McWhertor suggested the suit was actually a full-body Slurpee cup, and that's a dream I am never letting go.

Oh yeah, and there was a bag of cereal in there too. I'll eat, you look through the gallery.
Oh, that slaps me on the knee.

Necrobond - 50 BS/Inv Scrapper made in I1
Rickar - 50 Bots/FF Mastermind
Anti-Muon - 42 Warshade
Ivory Sicarius - 45 Crab Spider

Aber ja, natrlich Hans nass ist, er steht unter einem Wasserfall.

But will they turn the milk into an enriche golden color?

A sketch from our own David Nakayama? Awesome. The cereal is just a bonus.

Reminds me of the promotional package they did for Mega Man 9. The CD case looked just like an NES cartridge.

Oh dear gawd...

What is going through marketing's mind to come up with this load a BS.

I mean seriously? This... This...
I can't even begin to type what I think of this 'cause I'd get mod-smacked into next week.

sheesh...

Thank you for the time...

Why get so upset about something fun like this?

Because it's a POS type of "fun".
It's a lame and pathetic thing on marketing's end.

I do get the intent of this, I just think it was a waste of what marketing could do to promote GR.

Thank you for the time...

Yes, what are they thinking! Sending promotional packages to journalists who write for major gaming sites? Cleverly-themed packages that get a whole post to themselves? They should be promoting the game on TV or something.

Yeah, how stupid is it to send something unique that'd stand out to major gaming journalists...

Wait a second...

Your time. YOUR. Thank you for YOUR time. I've never heard anybody say "Thank you for the time." Maybe, and I mean MAYBE "Thank you for the time we spent together working on that home made cow chucker" or possibly "Thank you for the time of my life I never knew duct tape could hold that much weight."

But by itself? NO. I've had enough. Take it out. I'll do anything you ask, just make it stop.

Whew, I feel better. That's been bugging me for a while.

Oh my god. I HAD to click on this thread while I'm in class...

Now if they were to combine UTOPIOS with Frosted Chocolate Sugar Bombs, I'd be all over that.

Although I do think one of the comments on the Kotaku thread had the right idea... how about adding COH time cards to cereal boxes for a while?

You're too kind! I make a mean French Toast, too.

(Seriously. It's launched a campaign of genocide against pancakes, and I fear waffles may be next.)

I don't believe this for a second.

I mean come on, it's FRENCH toast! At the first sign of conflict it would surrender.
