I'm a little sad that fire melee didn't get alternate animations...I want to make a fire scrapper who doesn't use swords.

Heh. I have a Fire Melee character that I'd like to see most of his attacks use fire swords. Hopefully when they get around to the new melee animations, both of us will get our wish.

As long as they do something to make him shut up about it.

He's been ******** about this ever since PC went live.

If it's an OCTOpus, what does it have TENtacles?

to TO THE END!
Villains are those who dedicate their lives to causing mayhem. Villians are people from the planet Villia!

In Praetoria, you can sometimes see Hamidon's tentacles lashing against the Sonic Barriers around the city before disappearing, I witnessed this while at Tiberian Bluff one evening.

The power customization is one step closer to my wish for having a true flamethrower set! I'm most happy about not having to breathe fire/ice if I want those sets...

Interesting. I was ******** about there not being more weapons and large costume items, but power customization is just as good! Just goes to show these guys never sit on their hands. Rock on, dudes! That might actually make me try Sonic Blast for a change, so it's like a whole new powerset for me.

No proliferation is kind of disappointing, but again - power customization! Can't have everything, and I'm fine with what we got. It must have been a lot of work.

The sunken Ouroboros citadel shows me a few things:

1. Letter-writing-guy was right. Either I'll be by his side, or I'll be on the citadel as it plunges into the sea. And it has!

2. "The coming storm" was supposed to be an invasion, and we're getting invaded by forces from Praetorian Earth. Coincidence? I guess them originally appearing with the Rikti invasion was either a sign that Silos didn't know what he was doing, or a writer's ploy to trick us. Or changing priorities for the development team. Who knows?

3. The Ouroboros citadel appears to be on Praetorian Earth. It's enveloped by plant-like tentacles, it has trees growing out of it and there's that Giant Monster type Sardonyx on it. Could it have been there all along? Just somewhere out in the ocean on a world that's mostly cooped up in its own cities?

The war footage looks really cool, but I have the sinking feeling it will be restricted to "high-level task forces" only. I hope the Incarnate system will still be attainable by solo play of some sort.

It kind of fits with the "stand by me or be destroyed", but the Letter Writer taunts you with your inability to determine who he really is. I really don't see Cole doing that.

I know who it is.

Flower Knight's Evil Twin from Another World - the awfully wicked Weed Knave!

I too would LOVE LOVE this. The next big piece for me is a big tank strapped to my back filled with bubbling liquid (think Warhulk pilot chambers) and a big flammable sign on the casing.

But oh wait, but still no persistent rigid back details for costumes.

If you set it to No FX, it thankfully doesn't do that.

Having Vengeance and Fallout slotted for recharge means never having to say you're sorry.

but it still does it for Tough

At Character creation you get to simply pick what, out of the powers, you want from there fitness pool, so you could just take stamina, you could pick stamina and swiftness or you could take the whole kit and kaboodle.
Except this is entirely wrong. They're unlocked as of level 2. Think of them in the same way you think of a warshade's version of recall friend. You just get them; no wasting of power choices.

Talen_Lee: Taking absorb pain is like branding 'H' on your forehead. Which stands for 'Failure'

Scarf_Girl: ever since I six slotted my Rp with cyber/emo Hami-O enhancements they haven't been able to touch me

My only concern is still being able to fit my numinas and mircle specials into health. Has anyone heard a confirmation on this?

All of the powers of inherent fitness will be slottable exactly the same way they can be slotted now. The only difference is players don't have to spend a power choice to get any of them, so they are getting the four powers (switft, hurdle, health and stamina) for "free." This will allow players to make another power pool choice if they want to.

At this point, no announcemnt has been made to indicate players will be given any extra ehancement slots to go along with this change (and most likely will not be given any.)

There's a grain of truth to that. The thing with that animation is that it's really quite signature and works better with some Origins than others. Adding a new flavor has been a popular request, and that's why it's in the mix now. Hope you enjoy it.

Oh that's good. I never believed that OUR Nemesis would do something nice like fix time. But I never considered the Praetorian Nemesis. He'd almost certainly be a good guy, right?

OK, prediction: The Nemesis we visit in Ouro is from Praetoria. That screenshot you see is either A) A destroyed version of the Ouro in Praetoria that Praetorian Nemesis first started with, or B) A future version of Ouro which is under attack by various forces.

Oh, I think I will. Anything but Tarzan!
