It would definetly be cool and would solve the redraw problems with the weapon-based sets for sure. It would be a sweet option but really they could make it available to all powersets. Pew pew pew!

I can't believe I am saying this but Tokyo actually has a point about the size of the PVP community having an effect on how competitive the PVP is.

Just look at the latest Freedom PVP League. One team is clearly dominating everyone, then you've got maybe two other teams who are close to being on par with each other but still far below the top team in skill. That adds up to about 30-35 people who determine the outcome of the league out of how many thousands of subs in COX?

Don't get me wrong, the PVP in this game is still enjoyable even in its borked post i13 form but competitive? Does ware.gov even consider any of the other teams as competition? I doubt it.

Name Captains you would prefer to play for, minimum of 3. If you pick 3 I can guarantee you a spot on one of the 3 you choose, if you don't then whoever drafts you will be final. Also when we get down to the last draftees, there might be instances where people have to be picked in order to keep teams even numbers, in this case the draft protection will not apply.

I don't really care who I play for so long as they can keep the drama and asshattery to a minimum.

I don't know about the rest of you but I got into this game becuase I loved comics when I was a kid and really got into the idea of playing a superhero in an MMO. Once I got into PVP I really enjoyed the fast paced action. The game is still fun but I long for the speed of pre-i13.

I'd be really happy if they just reverted back to pre-i13 rules but I'll settle for the removal of TS and HD. The fact powers behave differently in PVP than they do in PVE is irritating but TS and HD in particular make me shake my head in frustration more than anything else.

Get rid of them, they suck.

By the way, I'd be happy with the pre-i13 form of travel suppresion as well, not a total removal of TS. If I remember that correctly, if you attacked then Super Speed and/or Super Leap would suppress but things like sprint, combat jumping, hurdle, etc would never suppress. I only use combat jumping to reduce troller and dom immob times, other than that it's a LOTG 7.5% recharge mule.

I'd LOOOOOOVE to see Travel Suppresion and Heal Decay disappear from zones.

How much sense does it make when you toss a 1-4 second hold/immolize/stun/sleep on a fleeing opponent and you still can not catch up to them? I'll answer for you, it does not make any sense :P

I hate travel suppresion, the fast paced action of pre-13 PVP was what I really enjoyed about this game.

Gimping the abilities of heals makes all kinds of powersets useful for only a few seconds in a sustained battle in zones. If you think a a healer can not be killed if HD is removed, check out any KB or arena duel with no TS and no HD. If you think you can't get kills if there is a healer healing your target, check out any KB or Team Arena match without HD and TS.

Removing HD and TS will do one thing: encourage team play and tactics.

So I thought I'd try my luck at taking down a Rikti Pylon and it took about 15 minutes but I dropped it

I did not use any insps, geas, archmage, lore pets or judgement. I did use musculature alpha, reactive interface, and ageless destiny.

The build has perma hasten, perma lightform, and perma inner light (with some overlap.)

If Khelds did get access to APP/PPP's I am sure the devs would limit them to human form for the same reason nova and dwarf don't have access to their non-form powers. Also, getting another shield would probably not fly so they'd either do a mix and match or Khelds would get access to an APP/PPP that did not have a shield as a power choice. So no squishie based pools and they would probably avoid pools that had similar powers like energy/body mastery. I'm inclined to believe they'd probably just do a straight port of the VEAT PPP's.

Anyone know of a good AE mission to take on AVs solo?

I'd like to set up something where I can test my PB against the standard Praetorian AVs required for the Portal Jockey Badge. I have been trying to make a tailored AE mission but I am an AE mission making noob and not having much luck.

I've dropped Bobcat and Chimera but would like to try all of them.

By the way, what are the standard rules for "soloing" an AV. I have not been using judgement or the Lore pets or inspirations. I've got my alpha slotted, reactive and use ageless.
