Probably had to jump a few hurdles to get there.

I have a friend from the Philippines and she could not believe that we crazy Canadians put coffee into a chocolate bar! She then thought it was the best thing ever.

ELAINE: What about ponies? What kind of abnormal animal is that? And those kids who had their own ponies..

JERRY: I know, I hated those kids. In fact, I hate anyone that ever had a pony when they were growing up.

MANYA: ...I had a pony.

(The room is dead quiet)

JERRY: ...Well, I didn't really mean a pony, per se.

MANYA: (Angry) When I was a little girl in Poland, we all had ponies. My sister had pony, my cousin had pony ...So, what's wrong with that?

JERRY: Nothing. Nothing at all. I was just merely expressing...

HELEN: Should we have coffee? Who's having coffee?

MANYA: He was a beautiful pony! And I loved him.

JERRY: Well, I'm sure you did. Who wouldn't love a pony? Who wouldn't love a person that had a pony?

MANYA: You! You said so!

JERRY: No, see, we didn't have ponies. I'm sure at the time in Poland, they were very common. They were probably like compact cars..

MANYA: That's it! I've had enough! (She leaves the room)

ISAAC: Have your coffee, everyone. She's a little upset. It's been an emotional day.

(Isaac leaves, everyone looks at Jerry)

JERRY: I didn't know she had a pony. How was I to know she had a pony? Who figures an immigrant's going to have a pony? Do you know what the odds are on that? I mean, in all the pictures I saw of immigrants on boats coming into New York harbor, I never saw one of them sitting on a pony. Why would anybody come here if they had a pony? Who leaves a country packed with ponies to come to a non-pony country? It doesn't make sense...am I wrong?

And then I got my cat, Miko (short for Mikoyan-Gurevich), who is a Russian Blue. Great cat, practically a dog, because he plays "tag", comes when I call him, is insanely athletic (my little Russian Rocket) and other than a penchant for assuming the "king of the castle role" role in my home, seems to be on the up and up.

So when you ask, "Which is it? Cats or dogs?" I say, "Yes."

BTW: I get a lot of PMs every day, and though I don't respond to them all, I have them forwarded to my email inbox so I read every single one of them. So if anyone feels like I'm ignoring them, please accept my apologies. I do read, I do respond and/or pass on information about anything that sounds like it needs it (like PMs about this thread, for example) to the people best able to solve the problem/issue/request/concern/praise, etc.

I was thinking it, so I thought I'd throw it out there.

P.S. Thanks for the PM, Celidya!

Ok... I didn´t really had the patience to look for over 16 pages of posts, but here it is my 2 cents...

You´re EU players are luckier than us "south of the border" at least... You´re complaining that you don´t have a box? I would love even to be able to buy the online products without having to use an IP hiding tool!
I´m Brazilian and from what I know here and in any other South America country we have to buy our CoX products from a company called Level Up Games... And last I heard they were selling Cyborg Pack as the "newest stuff"!

I honestly believe that there is no such thing as "marketing" for CoX. If a friend of mine had not seen the GxE box in a Duty Free in the Airport I probably would have not heard of it until now. Yeah... Yet again, the "box in the shelf" was what brought me into this game.
I surely hope they not only release it as a box in the EU market but also allow players from other countries to have access to it somehow...

And again, sorry for an typose but English is not my main language...

Grade 7. You don't say Grade 7? Here in the States they say 7th Grade, but I grew up on the other one.

P.S. I actually sat down once and came up with my Canadian Catchphrase Dictionary. I wonder what happened to it. It was great!

We call it Year 7 over here in England. But I suppose that has something to do with the fact that we don't keep kids back a year.

I often wake up in the nights worried that there aren't enough show-jumping jokes in the world. No more it seems!

After reading the forums, I definitely get the sense that you're feeling neglected. I also understand that some of you have very specific issues and questions about the expansion box, servers, and the general "forgottenness" and that you want answers. So, that's why I'm here.

Since I'm not part of the publishing or marketing aspect of the game, I don't have the insight or knowledge required to answer your questions directly, but I've been bugging people about this (especially lately) because I don't want you to think that your voices aren't being heard. I did want to make sure that I had a direction before posting, even if it was to say, "not yet." So, ehm, not yet. <g> I don't have any answers for you right now, but - like I said - I'm working on tracking some down for you.

However, while I'm playing the role of pitbull and poking my nose where it doesn't belong, if you have any questions about why I love Europe so much, what my favourite chocolate bar is, or why Canadians are so awesome, ask away. That way, I can keep you periodically entertained while we wait. So give me time to get the "official" answers (this won't happen overnight), but know that as soon as I know something, I will pass it on to you.

Thanks

Hi WW

Thanks for replying, but I'm personally worried more by this response. Given that Avatea originally posted here on 23rd February to tell us that she'd make the people who need to know aware of our feelings, it's taken almost a month for any more info and now it's “No news.”

That's worrying – that either you can't get, or perhaps more precisely are unable to give – any kind of answer. It's concerning because either marketing or publishing or the “Faceless Ones” aren't allowing that information out.

Look at it this way: If our concerns are unfounded, then why not just say “It's cool, everything's fine.” If everything is fine, why have the Faceless Ones not allowed that to be said? For me, it's telling that you cannot say that, and chocolate & kittens are all very fine, but it rather deflects from the point that we have been feeling very neglected. For me at least, your post has confirmed, rather than allayed, my fears that the EU is about to go the way of Korea.

I do appreciate that in any business there are things that must be dealt with internally before being permitted into the wider public domain but the impression I'm getting here isn't a positive one.

I sincerely hope I'm wrong because I love this game – and I love how passionate you guys who bring the game to us are for it, and for the community – but that doesn't mean we're going to be ok, and nobody – not even you – have been able to tell us that we are.

Which confuses the heck out of us north of the border. Year 7 in England is the equivalent of Secondary 1 in Scotland, right? But Secondary 1 comes after Primary 7, making it the eighth year... We get an extra year somewhere.

After spending the last 2 weeks trying to figure out why my US account details won't let me register / log onto the boards (or ANY US Account details, even a brand new US Trial won't work) and being met with a Wall of Silence in terms of any sort of NCSoft Customer Support (other than a message 4 days ago saying I was being escalated) it's easy to see why so many of us still feel like second class citizens over here.*

I thought Year 7 was Primary 7 here, so secondary school begins at what I suspect as Year 8, and finishes at 6th year, Year 14? That can't be right.
