5. I have read every Sookie Stackhouse novel (so far). So I don't know if my love is on par with your love, but I do like the books.

I hope she ends up with Eric - he always had that "I hate him, no wait, he lost his memory - whhaaaaat he's a good guy?, no wait, he's a bad guy...I hate him, but I KNOW he can be reformed!!" vibe about him.

The number of EU active players is at an all time low no matter what any one says, comparing number now to 3-4 years ago they should be able to see that yet they refuse to do anything about it. The fact that i have been told by 2 red names that they will have a look at this thread and see what they can do and yet hear nothing back in my oppinion is appauling and just goes to show how far down the list we are compared to crosswords and other stupid crap!
The only way EU numbers will go up is if the advertise the game ,why not put the 14 day trial disc,s on the PC Gamer mags like they have done in the past. The game has just got a good result in the poll that was taken recently,so they should start crowing about it this side of the pond.Just a suggestion NCSoft so how about it,help your loyal EU customers increase the player base over here. You know it makes sense more players = more subs= more profit for you

And 5 will get you 10 that if that were to happen in UK/EU magazines then the 14-day trial would still be for the NA service.

Yep the latest piece run by PC Gamer quoted us as having 132 character slots available and the most populated servers being virtue and freedom.

That was how I started 3 years ago with a trial on a PC Gamer disc, in the days before trial restrictions

This worries me.

The general attitude to keep humans entertained by allowing them to invade your personal space to pet you, ruffle you up, confuse you with laser pointer spots on the floor and Glod knows what these opposing thumbs-equipped mammals may come up with, is an innate feline attitude.

Just compare to all other domestic animals: dogs will happily get the leach as soon as you're ten feet away from the door; birdies are happy as long as they get their cracker and something to perch on; rabbits just munch on anything carrot-like; but above all, they do this out of ignorance or for their own entertainment. Cats alone take entertainment of humans so serious that it has to be considered a job.

And yet she takes the role of pitbull?!!

Seriously, War Witch, which one is it? Cats or dogs?

It's good news that War Witch is on the case in tracking down 'the official story' regarding Going Rogue's distribution decision-making. If that results in a detailed explanation of the reasoning behind the decision not to have a boxed set outside the US, then I will be informed. If her endeavours result in a reversal of that decision, then I will be happy. NCSoft and Paragon Studios want happy customers, right?

Of all the possible reasons - terrible teaming, too easy, too console-y, too little content - access to every power is actually the one I least expected. To me, it feels kind of silly to not being able to shoot with a gun just because I have a sword.

Here is a question for WW: what are your plans for the non-NA community? You might not control marketing and distribution, but you certainly should have some idea of what you want to do game-wise for those outside of NA.

If the answer is: same thing we've always done, that's fine because it is an answer, but then the answer is 'not much'. I fully understand that your core audience is in NA, but there is definitely a perception that non-NA regions are being left to wither.

Not having boxes on shelves certainly makes it appear that NCsoft is happy to ignore CoH/V players outside of the US.

I'm sure WW is quite capable of asking them for an answer.

So here's the deal. When I grew up we had a few cats, who had kittens, and then the next thing I knew, we had 11 cats.

And that was a wee bit much.

So I became a dog person. Found a stray, kept him for years, loved him to pieces, and then he died and I was sad for a very long time. I have had dogs over the years, but they eventually died (strange, that).

And then I got my cat, Miko (short for Mikoyan-Gurevich), who is a Russian Blue. Great cat, practically a dog, because he plays "tag", comes when I call him, is insanely athletic (my little Russian Rocket) and other than a penchant for assuming the "king of the castle role" role in my home, seems to be on the up and up.

So when you ask, "Which is it? Cats or dogs?" I say, "Yes."

War Witch

BTW: I get a lot of PMs every day, and though I don't respond to them all, I have them forwarded to my email inbox so I read every single one of them. So if anyone feels like I'm ignoring them, please accept my apologies. I do read, I do respond and/or pass on information about anything that sounds like it needs it (like PMs about this thread, for example) to the people best able to solve the problem/issue/request/concern/praise, etc.

I was thinking it, so I thought I'd throw it out there.

P.S. Thanks for the PM, Celidya!

WW

Have you taught him to fetch? I used to have a lovely little ginger cat called Jeoffrey that we taught to fetch hair bobbles. It was great fun until Jeoff spotted some hair bobbles round the base of a table lamp which he promptly tried to fetch and ended up smashing the lamp.

Hmm, perhaps that isn't the best story to tell to encourage you to try it...

Okay. Anyone that names their cat after a Russian aircraft construction bureau/company deserves respect.

Even if they like dogs.

first!

Edit: I got a question too Regarding the game now this is:

1) Any ETA on when i17 open beta might happen? [this week? next week? week after that?]

2) Do you and the other devs like players to PM you? I personally only ever have PM'd the moderators as i see it like im disturbing you if that makes sense? [which is doesnt but i know what i mean!]

3) Are you looking forward to the reaction on these boards once both i17 and GR are released? Since this community goes WAY over the top [in a good way] on any small piece of information

@Damz Find me on the global channel Union Chat. One of the best "chat channels" ingame!
