Things that are more difficult redside, and hence more fun.

Wailers! These things are a blast to fight with a full group.
Marcone Consiglieres: The Family ain't easy in St. Martial (every MM knows :P)
Succubi and Cold demons in the CoT roster.
A higher abundance of Paragon Protector Elites
Snakes: These guys are brutal.

Wailers tear up Electric Armor. Well OK, everything tears up Electric Armor.

But yeah, now that I'm leveling an Electric Armor Brute, you've just reminded me of the Wailers, and boy that just might make me ragedelete him yet again. Poor guy's been ragedeleted a dozen times, but the memory of how good ElA isn't fades with time and it's just so pretty.

Snakes are disconcertingly tough if you fight them later on. I remember going back to run the cape mission on a lvl 20 SS/Inv and being unpleasantly surprised at the damage they did to me. All that toxic really hurts.

I'd also add Longbow Ballista. In fact Elite Bosses in general, which are far more prevalent on Redside than Blueside, and a few of them (I'm looking at you, Sea Witch) are hellish to fight when you're in the mid 20s.

Am I playing some radically buffed Electric Armor set only available to me, or what?

Having Vengeance and Fallout slotted for recharge means never having to say you're sorry.

No - I don't like being evil, even if it's only in a game

The same reason I post in hero-related threads.

To offer an alternative view to evil = fun

Not Rikti. My /electric Brute pretty much lives in the RWZ and the Rikti can't even really touch him. I'm running as an 8 man team, too.

ELA is Rikti-Proofing!

I don't recall it being tissue paper outside the RWZ, but it's been a long time since I've played him in anything but, so I can definitely state that ELA is, at the least, awesome vs. Rikti.

Malta Group - the Sappers make brutes squeal like little girls. Beat up two big robots, only to watch them combine into one HUGE robot (which is awesome).

Knives of Artemis - slooooow yoooouu toooo a craaaaaawwwwl with stacked Caltrops spread over 1,298,120 sq feet per encounter. This may not qualify as "more fun" however.

Longbow Ballistas - it's like chipping at a boulder with a dinner fork while the boulder shoots you point blank in the face with bazookas.

Spine Scrapper Wardens - Stalker-bane!

It's because heroes are sissies and need to be coddled, thus their easier content.

Or we're simply more poweful and skillful, so the blue side content just seems to be easier when compared to the way the weaker, more inept Villains struggle through their missions?

Less Elite Bosses does not mean "more powerful and skillful."

Well, it's not our fault that Elite Bosses know that they'll stand more of a chance against Villains, so more of them like to have their lairs in the Rogue isles

Now that's a statement I've been wanting to debate for a while. The way you portray yourself on these boards, it's almost as if you beling at Emperor Cole's side spouting the same "You had better behave, or else you will be sorry" propaganda he does.

The Abrams is one of the most effective war machines on the planet. - R. Lee Ermy.

Q: How do you wreck an Abrams?

A: You crash into another one.

Serious question: in the 1-15 level range, which villain content EBs are stronger and more difficult than Frostfire or Atta?

Granted heroes have less, but IMO they are significantly more powerful.

The City of Heroes Community is a special one and I will always look fondly on my times arguing, discussing and playing with you all. Thanks and thanks to the developers for a special experience.

I'll grant you Frostfire, but I would say 3K Kelvin (Hellions EB available as early as level 5) is more difficult than Atta.

The hardest part about Atta is slogging through his gigantic mission.

I'll give you Atta, but Frostfire is only more lethal because he spawns with a regular boss and a bunch of minions.

Meh, I say pick up a Safeguard mission and compare it to a Mayhem mission:

-You die, one has to break out of a fortified jail and the other is practically dropped right where they left off
-One has the enemies ganging up on you while the other has you conveniently fighting down hordes of enemies *after* you complete your objectives and *only* when you decide to go *looking* for them
-The heroes a'comin' even after beating you down.

And that's just some of the stuff that makes the mission harder. Villains also get to blow up cars and stuff which never gets old.
