Things that are more difficult redside, and hence more fun.
Or do you believe we should back the people that routinely break the laws that keep the peace, damage or destroy public property and threaten the lives of the innocent?

Q: How do you wreck an Abrams?
A: You crash into another one.
And to him you're evil.

And the 90% of superpowered people who "disappear" are quite probably pretty innocent too

Meh, I say pick up a Safeguard mission and compare it to a Mayhem mission:
-You die, one has to break out of a fortified jail and the other is practically dropped right where they left off -One has the enemies ganging up on you while the other has you conveniently fighting down hordes of enemies *after* you complete your objectives and *only* when you decide to go *looking* for them -The heroes a'comin' even after beating you down. And that's just some of the stuff that makes the mission harder. Villains also get to blow up cars and stuff which never gets old. |
Safeguard missions are boring.
I still love doing Mayhems.
When those laws are made by a tyrant, then yes
And the 90% of superpowered people who "disappear" are quite probably pretty innocent too |
Consider how very many people in Primal Earth are meta-human. Now consider now many MANY of those are criminals, compared to those that take up the cape. Now further consider that a great number of those claiming to be 'Hero' are as violent and disruptive as teh criminals. I'm speaking of the folks that gleefully use lethal force when disrupting muggings.
Remember, in all this we are still fighting Statesman, just one that decided that Freedom was too much of a risk against peace. And come July, we'll be on our way to prove his case.

This is exactly what I was talking about actually. This is the "if it's not my ideal of law enforcement, it's evil. Period."

I love redside, the AT's,the content, all of it.I can't stand blueside, too much running around and to much dependency on teaming because you have to.
I'll take evil any day it's what makes the world go round.

No, it's more "if it's tyranny, it's not my ideal of freedom"
Well, I'll certainly be on his case in July |
If I like them, they are Freedom fighters;
If I'm not sure, they are Guerillas;
If I don't like them, they are Terrorists
I don't suffer from altitis, I enjoy every minute of it.
Thank you Devs & Community people for a great game.
So sad to be ending ):
Evil drives this world,it's what man does,if you hadn't noticed the "good guys" are outnumbered. |
And man might be evil, but woman is less so

Elves are wonderful. They provoke wonder.
Elves are marvellous. They cause marvels.
Elves are fantastic. They create fantasies.
Elves are glamorous. They project glamour.
Elves are enchanting. They weave enchantment.
Elves are terrific. They beget terror.
...
No one ever said elves are nice.
Elves are bad.

Oh, I'm sure the Resistance will provide the Firebombs for that office run.
Remember, the Resistance has the same goals as the Hellions, Skulls, Council or many of the other villains you've faced up to this point. They're here to destroy the peaceful lives that the citizens of Utopia live, and bring about a new world of chaos. Also remember that the people want Cole to lead them. They voted him into his position of power, even ousting their own leaders when they showed resistance to the idea. The people like the Renaissance world they live in. No hard labor. No hunger. No crime, except that which we will bring.
And the Resistance will tear that down, brick by brick. All with your help.
If they want this to stick, they're going to have to convince the people of the world that Emperor Cole is not the Benevolent figure they all believe him to be. They're going to have to assault and harass the citizenry to show Cole's defenses are weak. They're going to need to knock over banks to destabilize the economy. Just like the criminals of Paragon, in order to depose Marcus Cole, his city, and all that he's worked for must BURN.

"And we will overthrow the cold tyrant and we will usher in a new age of enlightenment and fraternity and humanism and Ankh-Morpork will become a Utopia and people like Brother Plasterer will be roasted over slow fires if I have any say in the matter, which I will." (Pratchett, Guards, Guards)
"I believe you find life such a problem because you think there are the good people and the bad people. You're wrong, of course. There are, always and only, the bad people, but some of them are on opposite sides." (Lord Vetinari, same book)
'They think they want good government and justice for all, Vimes, yet what is it they really crave, deep in their hearts? Only that things go on as normal and tomorrow is pretty much like today.'
-------Lord Vetinari (Terry Pratchett, Feet of Clay)

Wailers tear up Electric Armor. Well OK, everything tears up Electric Armor.
But yeah, now that I'm leveling an Electric Armor Brute, you've just reminded me of the Wailers, and boy that just might make me ragedelete him yet again. Poor guy's been ragedeleted a dozen times, but the memory of how good ElA isn't fades with time and it's just so pretty. |
Secondly, what is your primary you paired with elec? The set works best paired with either dark or a set with good AoE knockdown capabilities.
These brutes disagree with you and did not have difficulty getting to 50. Yes, they are IO'd to the gills now and nigh-unkillable, but I had no problem tanking on teams if players were competent. However, the first two were built prior to the addition of energize and managed to do just fine with aid-self - even in the midst of mobs (I had plenty of practice). If I'm dying on a team, it's because the team isn't pulling their weight and they're relying too much on me. Buffs and support makes huge difference while leveling up.
I grow tired of these threads. Hard to believe people are still in this "us" vs "them" thing. If you like red side more, play red side. If you like blue side more, play blue side.
If you're like me and most others, you'll play both and profit from all.
Actions speak louder than Vets.
-You die, one has to break out of a fortified jail and the other is practically dropped right where they left off
-One has the enemies ganging up on you while the other has you conveniently fighting down hordes of enemies *after* you complete your objectives and *only* when you decide to go *looking* for them
