  1. I reactivated my VIP status just to post on this..

DC was one of my best friends on CoH. Like others have said, he would always go out of his way to help you out, no matter how daunting or boring a task. He was actually one of the first people I met in the game and first SG's I joined, Outsiders of Paragon. Because of his warmness, I'm still playing this game 7 years later, and made a bunch of new friends in the process.

I'm going to miss him a lot. I really am.

Seconded. I was disappointed when I wasn't able to have it on my scrapper. It looks so cool.
  3. Really..really tempted to reroll my BS/DA Scrapper.

But yea, my heart sank into my toes reading the title of this thread. If he had died, I think I'd have a crygasm for a month.
  5. Tonight I just noticed how much I use "Elf Ears" for my characters.
  6. Well after months, it's finally done. I'm very happy with how it turned out. I thank him for all his hard work and dedication to this somewhat challenging project. Sorry for the pics, he says his new camera sucks, haha. I'll take some better ones when it's finally shipped to me.

If you're reading this Angelsrflamabl, you rock!

EDIT: He was also able to fix that slight lean I noticed a few months back. Standing up nice and straight now.
  7. Guy is waiting on approval from me about the paintjob before he does the final clear gloss. I'm so pleased with all the work he has done.

  8. My DB/Regen Scrapper, Vaux de Ville. To be honest, I still kinda like my original rendition of it, so I kept it as a third costume. Loving what the steampunk pack gave to my ectoplasmic Frenchman, though.

I don't know what it is about your costume (maybe it's a combination of your personality =P) but I find it so intimidating.

  10. Molded in rubber and casted in plastic. Just time for the paint!

    Did it just die?

Protector seems to be down, too.
  12. Very impressed. Can't wait until this pack comes out.

Pretty good about TFs. Global channels with pretty solid players.
  14. I don't think there's a single error in the OP.

    *wipes tear*
  15. Well Angelsflambl has been pretty busy with school/other commissions, so this project has been in production for a few months. I'll say since December. I don't think I would've had it any other way to be honest; he's truly put a lot of effort into making sure it was just right.
  16. Yea..I'm going to have to back out just because I don't know if I'm going to be around. Overnight job has really messed up my schedule. (hopefully, that might all change tomorrow)
  17. Update: I am very pleased.

Also, I realise that NOW is not prime time in the US, being somewhere between 1 AM and 4 AM on a work day, but it's mid-day my time. Running a search for other people right now on Victory hero-side reveals 23 people total. These have a more even split in levels, however with 9 50s, 11 40+, 3 20- and the rest in the 20-40 range. My character right now is level 27, and I see three other characters within three levels of me, one of whom is solo with a "pst; blind invites ignored" comment, which usually means he/she would join if I asked.

    Not bad that bad, actually.
I wonder: Are you clicking search twice when you see numbers like "50"? If you click search afterwards, you see the rest of the users online.
  19. I'll join up. Will probably take my tank.
  20. Am I the only one who feels no need to Incarnate (nevermind T4'ing) all of my lvl 50 characters?

I mean, since T4ing my Brute, I've been having a blast testing my new abilities against challenges that I never thought I'd be able to accomplish otherwise. (soloing AVs, Master runs, pylons, etc).

I don't see the point in rushing through these trials with all my character - most of which I really don't even PLAY anymore.

Hey lets just give everyone all the contacts cell numbers up front so you won't even have to travel to see them ... EVER! Make it a vet power.

I agree completely. Makes it seem like no one is around. One of the reasons I have missed feelings on the new Train/Ferry changes.
  22. Hello everyone.

Wanted to finally show you guys what I'm having being made in these past few months. Met this guy on deviant art who's also a CoH player. Angelsflambl is his name. I think I stumbled upon him through someone else's thread. I know he's done sculpting work for Juggertha. (http://angelsrflamabl.deviantart.com/)

I find sculpting to be fascinating. I really wish I was given this gift to create such spot on replications of things.

Since GR came out, I've been absolutely in love with my Claws/WP brute, Theraksis. Probably one of my favorite designs I've come up with. Loved it so much, I just *had* to get this done.

I've complied the stages of the sculpture and you can see how slowly its form starts taking shape. From what I'm told, he just has to do another round of smoothing, mold, cast, and paint. Can't wait until I see the final product. Enjoy guys.

  23. I've always gotten good comments about my stone tank, Ethergreen. Name, costume, and story.

  24. I love 'em. I've tried not to be tempted when once is forming, but I can't help but join. I really love the need for coordination, but it's not overly complicated.

Coming from FFXI, Aion, and other MMOs I've played, this end game "raid" is *nothing* in terms of frustation/time investment. I hope they give us some more trials soon, so I can play the poop outta them too.

As for waiting on people, I'd usually give 'em 5 minutes to come back. Not really fair that 16+ people have to wait for 1 or 2 people. (I do understand crashes happen, though)
