A series of massive ******* headaches. **** Christmas, damn it to ho ho Hell.

A 460 Gb (no, it's not 500 Gb no matter what the box says) 2.5" external, USB-powered hard drive.

A laser printer to replace my old and very beaten up and expensive to run inkjet.

I got exactly what I wanted! Unsurprising, since I bought it myself

Some quality time with a special Santa's helper and MNP.

So far? A replica Jared Allen Minnesota Vikings jersey that I brought to a family gift exchange for males on the basis of "buy something you'd want to get" that I managed to roll doubles late enough in the game to be able to steal from someone else. Because, well.. I bought something I knew I wanted.

I don't know what I've got from H for Christmas, but if anyone knows what the blazes I've done with the sodding £25 iTunes card that was supposed to go with H's phone, answers on a turbo-powerd postcard.

AAA membership, since i actually have to commute to work now, that suddenly got a lot more useful.
chocolate covered pretzels that will not last till saturday.

one thing if felt awkward taking was a card with some cash in it from a boss of mine. she doesn't havea lot of extra cash, and felt awkward taking it but she gave no other option but to take it, i helped her out a good bit during the year and she insisted,and was holding a dremmel at the time.

EDIT: update with the cash i got harvey birdman volume 1 and 2, and since toys r us was haveing the buy one fet one half off sale, i got crystal bearers and excite bots.

pretty happy with it, better that my gifts were well recieved and that i got a lot of angel tree stuff done this year, so good holiday really.

I asked only for people to donate to charities in my name (http://www.childsplaycharity.org/ or http://www.heifer.org). From the comments of family and friends so far, I've gotten that.

I arrived here at the parent's house earlier today, looked under the tree, and smiled as I saw nothing addressed to me there. I hope I wake up and I still have nothing under the tree...

Wii. Wii Fit Plus. Time with wife & my familiy. Got stuffed on xmas food. Got stuffed again.

"Airplane!" so far (best spoof movie ever). We'll open more presents later, and tomorrow. And some more when my mom's stuff gets here. And some more in January when we visit his parents.

My video card died today, and my wife felt so bad that I will be without my CoH mistress while I'm on vacation, that she spoiled the Christmas surprise.

Let's see, I got shoes, a gift card to a clothing store (sharing that with the hubby, was a combined gift), maternity pants and shirts. Got more than I was anticipating, so I'm happy.

A kagura costume set, also the only real present I've gotten though.

Set of pannier bags for commuting bike, subscription to a cycle magazine that i read (saving £20 a year and a free windproof worth £50 ).And a stinker of a cold so no Christmas rides for me

Other than that i will have to wait i guess some smellies and some cheap stuff.Christmas is more for my son and i know we will need an extension for all the stuff he is going to get .......

We don't do very big christmases anymore, it makes things so much less stressful. This year I got two music CDs from Powerglove (makers of awesome video game metal) and a pair of shirts (one with a funny message and one without). It was good. Better was watching my mom open the presents she didn't think she was going to get.

Many books were on the cards this year:

Mass Effect: Ascension, On Basilisk Station, Neuromancer, The Solaris Book of New Fantasy Volume 1, The Mammoth Book of the Best of Best New Sci Fi, Begining Ubuntu Linux (Need to buff up on my BASH shell proficiency) and then whatever I pick up in the sales.

Gamewise, Steam has currently been the order of the day, with some gifts from others and gifts to myself of Trine, Grand Theft Auto 4, The Eidos Collection off Steam (For Batman: Arkham Asylum mostly, but Thief: The Dark Age too. I already owned Deus Ex.) and possibly getting Dragon Age: Origins from my brother.

Then it's the usual menage a trois of undergarments, socks and clothes, plus the dastardly duo of cosmetics and toiletries.

Plus... a Lego Police Patrol Car with Speed Camera.

I'm really psyched about that. Almost 24 but nothing beats Lego at Christmas.

Two Janet Evanovich novels, a pair of John Deere pajama pants, a set of horseshoe earrings from Montana Silversmiths, and a necklace.

Got my hubby Batman: Arkham Asylum, The Last Samurai on BluRay, and a big freakin pack of socks. He's a happy camper.

Daughter got so much stuff I couldn't tell all of it.
