Is anyone subscribed to the Marvel.com online comics? My husband is, and we want to cancel it. We've went through the steps twice online, but it still keeps charging us. I want to find a contact number to pretty much give them an earful, but I can't find one anywhere on the site. I'm pretty ticked off at it...it's only 10 bucks, but it's 10 bucks going to waste.

Character creator, hands down. I love being able to make a classic looking superhero, or make a pig...or a robot...or an alien.
Community. This is the first/only MMO I've ever played, and it's great to be able to ask questions about the game and getting very courteous help. I also actually get along with most people I meet on here, which is more than I can say for real life.
Gaming versatility. I used to play for 5-8 hour stretches a lot, and I loved it. Now that I'm a new mother, I can STILL play while my daughter naps...because I can also do things on there that doesn't take up a large amount of time. I have gotten LOTS of badges since I've had herAnd, even though I can't really do the marathon runs anymore, I still love playing.

I have no idea. I got lucky with mine...I just had one mission left and it was a talkie. Maybe find one with one mission left and do an autocomplete if it will let you?

I have ten open arcs, I was looking in the wrong place. So I'm assuming that ten is the limit, if this is the reason I can't get missions in my situation. I have no idea, though. Guess I'll try to close out some arcs...
**Edit: I just completed one of the open arcs I had..apparently I never went to Cimerora to talk to that guy at the end of the arc. Ramiel is giving me missions now. -
Just in case anyone else has this problem, this is the email from the bug report I sent in:
"There are a couple of reasons that your character cannot access Mender Ramiel. One thing to note is that Mender Ramiel and the Incarnate System are features available to level 50 characters on accounts that have purchased the Going Rogue expansion. If you do not have this expansion, you would not have access to this content. Another possibility is that your character has an excessive number of mission arcs which could be preventing it from receiving Mender Ramiel’s arc. Check your contact list and look for the red and yellow book icons next to their names to find those that have open arcs. If you have changed alignment, then these arcs may be from your escrowed contacts."
I still haven't been able to access the missions, but maybe that will help someone else. -
Hmm, my computer is having insane problems downloading the updates, but I'm on my hubby's comp and he didn't say anything about problems with his...he's already changed his powersets a little. I'm a sad panda.

I'm in the hero Oro, came here from Bloody Bay.
-
Can't remember on the AE, but I looked at my Team window and it doesn't have the quit buton on there...just the option to search for teammates and the window for a search comment.
-
No arcs that I see...very rarely do missions with this particular character anymore...no TF...I'm not sure what FB mode is. Been 50 for a while and fully trained. Also in possession of the Oro portal.

Sorry if this is already posted, all I could find were threads about the incarnate system after you already unlocked it. I have a level 50 who I want to do the introductory arc with. He has no missions. Every time I talk to him, he says, "Settle anything that you need to finish and then speak with me." Am I missing something that is preventing me from doing the arc? I'm vigilante, if that changes anything.

Not really sure if this is relevant to the forums, but I figure hero-themed, so I vote yes. It is so great that the whole city helped make this little guy's wish come true...

Dude, if you don't want to pay for it, then don't. If you don't want to wait, look for a trial or a free to play game. I think I saw a commercial saying LOTRO is F2P now (or maybe it always was? I have no idea). Everyone's not trying to be jerks, they're just pointing out that the expansion price includes a lot more than you mentioned at first (just 1-20 content).

One we met during the first two years we were playing. Her brother was going to school near where we lived so she stopped by for a visit. Another friend drove down to attend my husband and my wedding and stayed with us for about a week. Good times.
We are also friends on Facebook with all of our regular SG/VG mates. -
Been reading, figured I'd throw my two cents in...
Profanity? No problem with it. Some conversations I've had with friends would cause some people's ears to bleed. Insults? Meh. Doing it in public, around people you don't know, whether it be online or in real life? It should be common sense to reign yourself in. If you go into say, a grocery store, and start spouting profanities, whether it be in front of younger people or not, what does the manager do? Either call the cops or kick you out. Chances are, the manager would be notified by another shopper there. Same deal, pretty much...except, ya know, the grocery store doesn't make you agree to a TOS every time you go through the sliding glass doors. It's not about what rights you (general you) think you have, it's what the Devs are allowing/not allowing in their controlled environment. And if someone gets offended and petitions someone, that just makes the Devs' jobs easier to execute. -

Also, no, you're not old. You've been listening to Bone too much. -
1.Female
2. I have at least one of each AT, but I love playing defenders and controllers. I like to play any kind of support.
3. I play both. I've went through periods of just red or just blue, but I usually jump back and forth regularly.
4. Portal Corps
5. The ability to make your own story by way of powers, costume, and bio. Social aspect, as well (have made some friends on here).
6. I like Mario games, though I don't really play other games that much anymore.
7. Around 5 years
8. I have about 30 alts on the server I play on, and lots of toons I never play on other servers. My alts are usually either 30-50 or 1-15.
9. I pay no attention to anything like that. I have one character that has all sets, but the others I've tried to IO out, I've lost interest. It depends on who I am playing with the difficulty, but it's usually on the lower side. -

I can't figure out to how post the picture itself *hangs head in shame* -
Quote:I would rather a movie not be done about it if the situation happens where they are changing the story.I'm another who agrees that the ending was fitting and fine...it's the few thousand pages or so just before the ending that were so mind numbingly lame that I have a problem with.
[SPOILERS]
Firstly all of the blending of other fictional worlds just doesn't work. From the end of Wolves of the Calla, where the Wolves turn out to be Doombots wielding lightsabers, to the presence of King himself in the story...all of that is just horrid, and hopefully they jettison every bit of it from a film adaptation.
Then there's the fantastically anti-climactic way the confrontation with the Crimson King played out...again, I hope that gets entirely redone. The very existence of Mordred is something that needs eliminated, especially the way that Flagg went out.
The first 4 books (although the very end of 4 was starting to stray into lame territory) were excellent. Everything that came after was weak and full of fail, and even though I agree that the loop was a fitting ending (even if it was blindingly obvious that's what was going to happen if you read the revised first book), I still don't think it was handled as well as it could have been.
I'd have preferred he take another 20 years and get the books done right, but I suppose after his accident he felt like he'd better just get through them. Unfortunately, the last three books are left feeling rushed and full of bad ideas. -

Ok, so here's my suggestion. When I got engaged, I ended up buying my wedding dress over a year before we actually got married. During that time, I gained enough weight to where I couldn't zip my dress over my...er...ampleness. I don't like to exercise and I don't eat many vegetables (me and the hubby are all about one pot meals). This is what I did and I was able to lose almost 20 pounds over the course of three months:
The only soda I drank was Diet.
I made sure to drink more water and lowfat milk
If I went out to fast food (I allowed myself to do this once every two weeks), I made sure to order chicken and nothing that was breaded/fried.
I cut out all condiments but regular mustard (not that hard for me, I hate mayo)
Any food I would normally use a pat of butter in, I would spray a bit of butter Pam in it.
Any food I would normally put heavy cream or any high fat cream in, I started using 2% milk.
Instead of regular potato chips for munchies, I got dried banana chips or those terra vegetable chips.
All white bread I changed to wheat.
I have an insane sweet tooth. I allowed myself one sweet a week that had a lower amount of sugar in it. With sweet snacks, I bought things meant for diabetic people (which taste awesome, by the way).
Again, I exercised none. I know that's not healthy, but I figured I'd mention that since you have those problems preventing you from staying on your feet.
As for exercise suggestions, as odd as it sounds, maybe you should look into exercises for pregnant women. Those are usually low impact. Yoga or pilates may be good too, plus it may help your back. -
I have a two month old and she loves watching me play...especially when I'm on a stormy or on my emp defender (all her powers are bright gold). I guess all kids like bright colors; this is my first so I don't know. She's also a fan of Ren and Stimpy.

Over 35 characters, none use dual builds. Which...I also never use respecs...

I'm not very webcomic savvy, but there is one that I found and eventually just started reading it from the beginning. Its on www.questionablecontent.net and goes back a few years, with them posting a new comic every Monday through Friday. I like this one a lot because it has a lot of sarcasm in it...plus a crazy little robot.
