Well, just be sure to let me know when Cryptic adds those to their game.

And I wasn't aware that their game even had bases.

I'll stick with the NCSoft game that I currently play instead, so I'll need you to send me a PM when Cryptic gets those added to their game.

Thanks.

If the game spit out 20 dollar bills people would complain that they weren't sequentially numbered. If they were sequentially numbered people would complain that they weren't random enough.

Black Pebble is my new hero.

Paint it any color of justification you want.
It's still not cool in my book.

Alright, I will! I think I'll paint it...chartreuse!

So, just for clarification, you think it's totally cool for the people who made the off-topic whine posts to have done that, then? I don't, so I see the retaliation as deserved and not at all inappropriate.

I think, probably, that if the guy who checks my electricity meter came by, and I insulted him for wasting time on that when he could be fixing my air conditioner, he would call me an idiot.

*rolleyes*
There you go putting words in my mouth again.

Two wrongs don't make a right.
(and yes, two Wrights made an airplane, but that's another topic entirely)

Retaliation accomplishes nothing but escalation.

I am no longer interested in engaging in further discussion regarding this.
My way is my way, as yours is yours.

qfe.

What I was seeing was this:
  • players see a shiney in the patch notes
  • patch note thread becomes a rave about the new shiney
  • some players say "meh, I'd rather see something else", or some other non-shiney comment.
  • players and REDNAME put on their sarcastic hats and proceed to make fun of those who disagree with them.
So I called BS.
This is patently untrue. I have never removed my sarcastic hat, thus have no need to put it on.

While many times it seems I'm wearing the snarky hat, very few realize it is just the sarcastic hat turned around backwards. There are other tones I can convey by doing different things with the sarcastic hat, but none of them requires me to remove the sarcastic hat.

I see.

That makes it SO much better.

Now who's wearing the sarcastic hat?

I believe the point that doesn't seem to have been conveyed is that the only people who were sarcastically made fun of were those who shot first, figuratively speaking.

I dont want to have to colour that picture. Its rather messy
Er...I always work with auto-keyframe mode (Auto-Key in Max). All it does is automatically create a key at the current frame for any translation you do on the object. Nothing mysterious about it.

In fact, I've only known one animator who worked by setting keys manually, and his curves were a bloddy mess. Namely because he would just select every bone and blast a key onto everything...whether it needed it or not.

It's essentially the same thing, except one requires at least one extra keystroke and usually generates more keys than you actually need.

I thought Back Alley Brawler's sarcasm came from his armored gloves? I've never seen him with a hat...

And the spare ones are used for fixing the TF bugs?

Whup-*** is in the gloves. Sarcasm goes in the lid.

Nope...spare keystrokes are saved for sarcastic posts on the forums.

And with that, we've come full circle!

BAB! Why are you spending the keystrokes *I* am paying for on SARCASM when Facetiousness is so under developed! Why don't the facetious get some love, HUH!?

I don't have time to read the whole thread, so forgive me if I'm only repeating things.

First of all, the walks look great! I've seen the Youtube video of a Female walking, so I tried Male and Huge. Very nice work!

I also noticed that it works in Studio B in the AE buildings. That was a surprise, though a nice one.

Finally, the tricks for drawing a weapon and keeping it out work even when the Walk toggle is engaged. When you stop, you drop into combat pose, but you walk normally when moving. I don't know if this is intended or not, but I kinda like it.

Dude, get a grip. The Facetiousness update was scheduled for release in issue 17, didn't you hear?

My DB/Nin Stalker has one. After fighting, when all endurance was drained and i toggle on Danger Sense again, the animation of Nimble Slash is played instead of the Danger Sense animation. I didn't pick Nimble Slash.

For anyone that has noticed stunned mobs doing a weird new animation recently, that turns out to be the Walk animation. I thought it looked a little familiar.

Actually, people were saying they want X (where X is something that is completely unrelated to animations) to be done instead of walking animations. Which would imply one of:

1) They want BaB to work on X instead of working on animations,

2) They want BaB to sit back and not contribute anything to the game until one of his colleagues successfully accomplishes X.

Thus, mockery.

Ah, but you guys use Studio Max? Maya seems to have a different system. Either way, if the head of 3D, a rather tech and animation savvy guy calls 'em evil, they are evil. Same as sweeping cameras and lens flares

Also: /e glee! Quoted by one of my favourite rednames ^^
