Thus, mockery.
And completely appropriate. If folks have suggestions or requests for that, there are THREADS and OTHER FORUMS for that.

This one is to give feedback for WHAT'S IN THE PATCH NOTES.

It's not rocket science.

I agree with the poster who said that BABs should of just notified a mod and be done with.

Then again we wouldn't have gotten the appropriate lols and sarcasm.

Sadly, yes, it's entirely understandable. The simple fact is, no matter what people receive, they will find SOMETHING to whine about. We've seen this time and again. Every new feature is accompanied by complaints that some completely unrelated aspect of the game was not worked on/given preference/etc.

I think that might be a bug - the normal stumbling around looking dizzy one seems to be a better match for what's happened to them

In fact, I've only known one animator who worked by setting keys manually, and his curves were a bloddy mess. Namely because he would just select every bone and blast a key onto everything...whether it needed it or not.

It's essentially the same thing, except one requires at least one extra keystroke and usually generates more keys than you actually need.
Max for the win. \m/ I don't think a game like CoH would use the functionality in Maya, it's always been more of a tool for NURBs in my opinion.

I can also recall what the wireframe for the Valkyrie costume set looked like. You guys sure are perfectionists, I'll give you that, and it clearly pays off.

Random question here, just for my curiosity and to stave off tiredness. Knowing you use Max, I know generally how the biped system within it works, and how it most certainly does not have four sets of bones hanging off the shoulder blades. That said, I'm guessing the crab spider pack is itself an independent set of bones, attached to one bone on the main character, which is why it animates so smoothly regardless of what the character is doing. Am I on the right track?

Necrobond - 50 BS/Inv Scrapper made in I1
Rickar - 50 Bots/FF Mastermind
Anti-Muon - 42 Warshade
Ivory Sicarius - 45 Crab Spider

Aber ja, natrlich Hans nass ist, er steht unter einem Wasserfall.

If there are flies in the chardonnay, perhaps it's time to move on to something else.

Life has a funny way....

Oh, I think you're right about that. Held animations for mobs are also wrong, with them swaying like they're stunned. It was just nice to be able to identify where this different animation was coming from.

As players we often assume that because we're told anything we're probably being told everything.

We're not.

Ha! The truth is, BAB's puts on a new sarcastic hat each day. He was wearing almost twenty of them when I took this picture of him.

This....so much this.

Although sometimes we get told exactly everything there is to tell, and there's gonna be folks that always jump to the conclusion that the Devs are hiding something because they always do.

They can't win for losing, sometimes.

Loose --> not tight.
Lose --> Did not win, misplace, cannot find, subtract.
One extra 'o' makes a big difference.

Bottom line:

No matter what you do, someone is unhappy, and has an extreme urge to express their unhappiness in a variety of ways, most of which enable the person to satisfy their need for attention or sympathy.

Loveing the walking and I like the powers being greyd out, only ONE sugestion relaly... find a way to get jump back in liek a small hop, .. theres alot of objects you can't step up on like some chaires and stuff so you can turn and sit on them, but other than that I'm really happy with Walk

please don't change it or drop it liek they whiners made the devs do to the flight Banking animation.. I stil miss that animiation

now we can maybe get sprint turned back into a clicky like it started out as, that'd be nice

I actually really do agree with that. We need -some- form of vertical movement with walk on. There are just way too many obstacles.

I agree completely! We've finally gotten the walk, now let's make sure it's not a crippled one!

Click-sit for chairs. Interactable objects. That is all.

No more 'Pocket D shuffle' would be nice. Y'know, twitching around like theres the devils comb in your pants or something trying to get the sit just right...

The fun part is trying to sit in chair and stools that are physically impossible to sit in.

And then getting pushed off the darn thing 30 seconds later by some random person!

It's not just chairs and curbs... The floor levels in bases are 4 ft intervals; a single floor raised is 4 ft, double raised is 8 ft.. Stairs and ramps will only get ya so far; they can't be placed in doorways, for instance.

Emotes for interacting with glowies would be cool too - like when you click a computer, it makes you do the /e typing emote.

Oh no, sometimes it's not even a person.
Your character just magically shifts a few inches without anyone touching them.

This happens an awful lot in Pocket D...very, very wierd.

Yah, that happens too. But it's usually the result of rubber banding or sync issues.

It definitely wins on some sort of notes/comments ratio.
