I enjoyed beating 2 (good) stalkers (em/sr and em/regen) with my INV/SS in a 2v1 duel in SC. All powers were allowed (no insp) and it was a close run thing until dull pain rotated for a second application

I mean you could almost hear them go 'Oh shi-*break free*' before starting to heal and toggle back up, especially if I stunned them too.
It was horribly unbalanced, but the reaction was brilliant.
Went to Sirens with BS/Inv scrapper along with my buddy the Psy/Kin defender. We both have tactics, so we could see all the little stalkers.
Well, after killing all the villians in there (except those that ran) a few times, they all left for Warburg. The broadcasts were full of "well, this zone sucks anyway, i'm outta here". We were having a blast!
Had to go eat some dinner, otherwise we would have followed them to WB. Boy, would their day have been ruined!
Turns out having Grant Invis is most amusing when in RV with a SB'd Heavy 
Not a laught cry or an anecdote but more a prise to the guys in RV tonight. I was on my MM Doc Voodoo and I was just trying to get XP to hit 45 so I could get some new contacts, But there happend to be some heros in the zone so I thought why not have a lil pvp fun. I can honestly say this was some of the best PvP fun I have had in long time if not the only PvP fun I have had in a long.
There was no [censored] over broadcast or name calling and the only chat going on was peeps saying lol as they where killed or going great fight. This to me is what PvP should be about people having fun and respecting others fun. Any way the peeps names I can remeber where Dead Cell a tech tank and Chaos Warrior a brute there where other peeps but I didnt manage to get there names but I would like to say thanks to them as well.
Jumped into SC last night for a quick half hour, and went to NW corner looking for some action jumped in killed someone and started getting abuse saying that he was AFK..felt a bit of a git but heyhoo its PvP right.
Then started getting "im gunna kill you, your dead" over broadcast from someone else, fair enough..went looking for him had a good fight which they lost....then over broadcast i get "you jumped from on top a building, i wasnt ready, sneak attack noob" this was coming from a stalker.
More abuse followed, i just turned off chat. Would like to say i carried on killing villains but i only got 1 more kill and got totally pwnd by some decent players,and guess what i didnt [censored] moan over broadcast about it.
Thinking about knocking zone PvP on the head.
If anyone is organising Arena matches on Union give me a shout @dipstar
He he he, my favourite power in PvP came into force again last night with some mouthy idiot on the end of it in Sirens.
I entered SC and it was very quiet, due to the ungodly hour I was on, with only about 3 people in there when I spot a blaster trying to clear one of the hotspots(Is this how heroes keep control of SC with late night 'sneak' hotspot clearing!). I have stealth on so he clearly can't see me and just as I move in to attack, the mobs start getting the better of him and he tries to fly off. Without even thinking, I drop Snow Storm on him to stop him getting away... The side effect being that he drops into the NPC's and they kill him before he can even get a shot off.
Cue, broadcast abuse. I try to be polite and apologise explaining I was trying to kill him myself but this guy's attitude stinks so I wait on top of one of the more visible buildings for him to return and "teach me a lesson in PvP". Sure enough, he comes zooming in... Snow Storm, he goes plummeting down.
This is followed by several shouts of 'coward' and other such names as I actually don't try to attack him and just /e ledgesit on the building looking down at him, not responding to his broadcast and chuckling to myself. Eventually he works out to run out of range to get the snow storm toggle off. A few seconds pass and he comes flying in again...Snow Storm once more, you get the picture.
I think this went on for about 15 minutes and I must have dropped him about 10 times. It was so bad that towards the end I was actually letting him get within touching distance of the rooftop before doing it.
I then get a tell from the only other person in the zone, a stalker after his 5 hour badge, telling me how funny he was finding it all. The stalker then joins my team and we come up with a little idea so I holler over broadcast.
"I'm going AFK for 5 minutes now and I bet you still can't kill me"
The AFK banner goes up over head and the blaster comes flying in and tries to blap me to death. One free hit and i'm almost down... AS, dead blaster. I then 'return' from my AFK and put out over broadcast.
"Told you, even when AFK you can't kill me. Glad you taught me such a 'PvP Lesson'. G'night"
I would post the chat log here as it really was funny seeing him get more and more wound up and try everything he could to provoke me into fighting rather than just -flying him but some of the language(and spelling) he used was pretty atrocious

I had to giggle at reading that one.
I had a good fight the other night.
Had just entered Siren's Call and saw a MM (turned out to be Zombie/Dark) flying around at the corner of the zone (on the inside of the L shape). No pets in sight so I decide to drop him and attempt to fight him. He plummets down and it knocks a bit of health off.
I turn off hover and plummet down behind him, turning on hover at the last second so i don't hurt myself.
He instantly heals himself, raises zombies and stops me running with Tar Patch. I teleport a few feet back out of range of his heal and the tar and hover a few feet off the ground so the Zombies can't get me.
I then start laying into him with my debuffs, finally putting down Oil Slick (unfortunatly it didn't light up when i fired a burning arrow).
He then attempts to run and he gets round a corner but I teleport him right back and reapply the debuffs. I use a couple of insp and get the final shot off.
No insults or talking, I just sent a 'GF' message.
No stalkers or anyone else got me during the fight either.

If PvP-ing MMs are what you want, try Siren's Call on Defiant - we usually have to go up against an army of minions there each night

Got well and truely owned by a Dominator and Corrupter in Sirens (on Union) last nice. As my Ice tank. Granted it took them a long time to take me down (with Shiv help) and I don't have a single attack so was always going to be a one way fight, but was suprised how effective the dark debuffs were for lowering my defenses, and the dominator in domination totally ate through my mez protection.
Funny thing was I didn't have any BFs so i summoned Amy J to help me out, but all she did was the odd heal and attack, was kinda hoping she'd throw a clear mind my way 
First time I've PvP'd for ages and reminded me that it's helpful to have a decent team backing you up. And fear seems to be FoTM at the moment, and a bit too good
Fear seems rather random - sometimes, it stops me dead, but other times, it says "Terrorized" in the corner of the screen, but I can keep on moving...

It's the same on PvE mobs, it doesn't worry like a hold, it keeps going on and off.
One of the reason why I didn't like it with my mind dominator was it didn't guarantee damage mitigation because it doesn't stop people from attacking.

There was a lot of fear going around what with me being mind and the corruptor being dark. Plus there was a dark scrapper. There was also a poison MM which I believe has some pretty awesome debuffs. Amy was a pain though and realy helped you out, I kept trying to confuse her but eventually gave up. (think she may have high end drain on those leccy attacks).
Dunno bout fear being too good, some toons really need that soft control to make up for the lack of damage & survivability. A little annoying that the dark scrapper could get it, but his damage seemed way lower than something like spines. Certainly an essential power for mind doms, I dont think I would have a chance without it.

But sometimes it never seems to go on at all, especially if I'm moving - I'll be flying or super speeding along, get the red text "Terrorized" in the corner, but not even slow down.

It's a bit broken at the moment as far as I'm concerned. Fear will stop you dead if A) You're not moving or B) You stop moving.
If you get feared while moving, and don't stop, you're good.

Maybe when I get to 50 I'll respec into a more PvP build...although not sure what use /Ice is for a tank

I think this maybe comes from people who threaten to petition but never do it. The offender never recieves anything about the incident and so thinks the devs dont object to there behaviour.
You must have left before I turned up. Was a bit of a hero gankfest when I got there but no serious insults. I was too tired to play properly though (which wouldnt have made too much of a difference anyway) and too stubborn to give up and go to bed :P

I don't PvP much but have found my dark/rad defender can be quite hard to kill. Was in RV last night clearing a bit of debt with a heavy but got bored and was heading back to the exit. Found a MM and brute blocking my way so sat back to see what they would do. They spotted me and sent a heavy in. Whilst trying to decide how to tackle that I realized it was a diversion and the MM jumped me from behind followed by the brute from the front. I didn't last long.
I almost left the zone as I'd been on my way out anyway but decided to have a quick try at payback. Picked up a heavy and headed off to find them. The brute spotted me first and sat a little way off waiting for the MM to catch up with him. Unfortunately for him he was a little too close - tar patch, tp foe and one shot from my heavy has him on about 10hp. He got about 3 seconds of slow motion running in before even my limited firepower finished him off. The MM jumped in and stunned me but his pets were still far behind whilst mine was right there. Fluffy kept me nicely safe til I was back in the fight and the MM went down soon after. Whole fight took about 25 seconds. I don't often get kills so was very happy and hope I taught them not to mess with a defender.

Only tried my stalker in BB and SC so far. Only thing i find a problem are Ice Tanks. Once made an Inv Tank run in BB all the way from the main island back to the hero base. Shame I was faster than him in the end
That was the same day I got challenged to "Use my wimpy AS and take one of us out" when the heroes (bout 4-5 of them) were grouped around the 2 red conning Spines Wardens that had Quills firing. 10 minutes later: 2 dead Wardens, 4 dead Heroes
