Well, I mean - there are only 12 of them to start with. What they should really do is encourage population on servers outside of Freedom and Virtue.
Encouragement should probably start with changing how a new player perceives the servers. High population servers like Freedom and Virtue should show up in a different color - maybe a dull gray or black text, and the others should be made to stand out more.
Beyond this, maybe allow x1.5 Influence on other servers. When the population balances out some, then shut the spigot off.

No. Inf is already nearly worthless, save in a couple instances, as it is.

Not to mention that the biggest place to spend inf is on the Auction Houses, which happen to be cross server. So the extra inf from one server will quickly find itself on another since transfering inf from server to server isn't much of a problem.
There would be no incentive to change servers at all.

I don't want to lose a third of the characters I have because someone else doesn't want to take the time to actually form a team of their own...or is to lazy to move to a more populated server.
I have at least 6 characters on 9 servers. 4 servers have at least 12 characters and 2 have more, all on one account. If I lose any of them, I stop paying for both accounts I own.
Which of your characters would you like to lose, Tongo?

The funny thing is I actually learned the bulk of my English off these very forums. I like to rub that in the faces of people who claim you can never learn anything useful on the Internet and that games are just a waste of time. I actually honestly have you guys to thank for the language skills I have. I'm not sure what level I would be at if I hadn't taken root on these forms, as it were, as I slept... Literally SLEPT through my last two years of high school education, and University English education in a Mathematics degree sucks so bad it isn't even funny.
And, yeah. Sorry about repeating the remark. I kind of skipped from page two or three all the way over to the end, because with the OP's attitude, I didn't feel the thread would be a very interesting read.

That's why they CAP Freedom during events, first so it doesn't blow a gasket, and second so that people will PLAY on those other servers too!
I don't think you really understand what you want here. The thread title implies you DO want servers to be packed like Freedom, and now you're all "but there are so many!"... DUH. That's what the point is we've been trying to say. Medium and low population and load servers are MORE FUN for a lot of us, because we don't get as bad lag, we have more access to names we want, etc - your argument against keeping "all" the servers open is utterly opposite of what you just posted.

Disneyworld in Orlando hires people dirt cheap. I mean not even $10 an hour. They do house and feed alot of students though. The point is for such meanial pay the cig sweeper has incredible patience. He's asked on average 63 times a day where Space Mountain is. Every single time he answers politely with the directions. Thats not a patience thru great character, but simply knowing each person really doesnt know.
