Villians is not as easy as you say. Heros get infamy and prestige just by defeating the enemies around a civilian but villians dont. Heros complain about everything. When they die in PVP the have to complain when they actually have the upper hand. Heros get everthing if you look at it. Villians have the same 13 zones and after awhile you memorize every part of each zone. Where as you look at heros the get alot more zones they can go through and it is also easier to collect all of the badge because they have zones they can go to to defeat certain enemies in villians we have to try and get certain missions and farm them if we want a badge. For instance you have the Hallows for trolls and outcasts. We have to farm lower level missions to get trolls and spend hours upon hours farming the lvl 20 cape mission to get the outcast boss badge. So really villians is alot harder then you think but i guess some people just go through to get to level 50 and dont enjoy all the available content that you can do while rying to get all the badges while you are grunging to get to lvl 50

I have 4 level 50 Villains NON PLed. And 3 level 50 Heroes NON PLed.. I am telling you Villains is SO MUCH EASIER.
Takes 27 days or Less to Non-Power level Yourself and a pal from 1 to 50.. Just hitting all the badge contacts and paper mission/mayhem badges.
I have done it, I know about this.

When I normally solo through the lvl 34-44 bracket, I find it long and hard to lvl up a character no matter what side they are on. This is one big reason why I play one character mainly anymore when on the quest to 50. I really can't wait for the development team to get all of this goodness done so I can enjoy the game better
......and I also would like to see environmental hazzards in the future too but of what is coming out, I'm so happy that I can kiss someone

I don't want to talk too much out of turn, so I will just say that its obvious that the real-time display Lighthouse refers to has to be something that is viewable within the normal game display, or else it would be worthless as a real-time display showing things like combat buffs. So by definition, its totally separate from how they would alter the enhancement/respecification screens, which shows powers and slotting in a completely different view.

My assumption is that it will be a new UI window showing statistics. That is easy to turn off for people who don't want to see it, and could just pull the numbers out of the stream for display. Other numbers added to the UI would probably be tooltip/properties/info windows. This would allow reuse of existing interface resources, reducing the workload for the coders.

It could easily be put under the TAB section of the chat window. Where you can add it to a tab or not depending on your interest.

Smoothing the XP Curve
One thing that we constantly examine is the rate of advancement in the game. In a future version, we intend to smooth out the leveling curve by changing how much experience is given out for defeating opponents. The intent is to smooth out the bumps where players typically get stuck leveling up their characters. Keep an eye on coming patch notes for specifics.
Real Numbers
As a general quality of life improvement we will be adding new functionality in a coming version of the game to display the real numbers behind your characters and their powers. This includes a user configurable display of important characteristics such as movement rate, regeneration rate, resistances and many more! Additionally, you will be able to see how those statistics are affected in real time by buffs and/or debuffs affecting your character.

The biggest thing here for me is the "real math" update. I think this is a big step in the right direction.
I've played a number of other MMOs. Very few really tell you everything that's going on. Games like Ragnarok Online and Granado Espada just tell you your attack is doing "500%" or "1200%" and nothing else. And then you miss vital information like how the stats work and what numbers to aim for, or exactly what each stance does for you.
By far the best game I've played for this is Guild Wars. In GW, everything told you exactly what it did. If you have a debuff, you know how long it lasts. If your armor gives you resistance to bleeding, you know how much. If your attack does damage, you know how much, and what element it is. You know the cast time, cost, and recharge time of every single skill.
The thing that's always bothered me about CoH is the vague descriptions of powers. If I'm told the attack does "high" damage, how much is that? What's better, extreme or superior? And the worst is recharges, where 6 seconds and 10 seconds are both "Medium" while 8 seconds is "Moderate." "Very Long" could be anywhere from two minutes to 15 minutes, and how long is "Very Fast" anyway?
If we start getting more information to tell us what's going on, people can make better decisions about their characters -- without having to check forums, wikis, and builders just to see exactly how much DEF you get from Shadow Fall and if it's worth slotting for it.
Dispari has more than enough credability, and certainly doesn't need to borrow any from you.

Actually, I had this question last night.
If any red names are still reading this, is the plan to still stick with three issues this year? Or will we see fewer formal "Issues" and more "in-betweeners"?
Things are looking good so far, but it would be nice to know the general release plan for 2008 for the Issue Roadmap.

QoL fixes that would leave me grinning in ways that worry my friends:
General:
- Fix the End Mod IO sets. Please?
- Open up all the contacts for Ouroboros arcs, at least red side.
QoL stuff for villains:
- When you unlock the PPP get the patron logo as a costume item. Really, you're working for them now, some of us would like to advertise.
- More SFs, a low level one, and one in the 41-45 range. How about unlocking the patron gives you a specific patron SF?
- More Patron content in the lower level arcs. Besides beating up/doing work for Barracuda and Silver Mantis, and rescueing Damsel In Distress(TM) Ghost Widow, not a lots done with Recluse's lieutenants.
- Another contact besides Radio in PO, after the 8th time through, I'm more than a might tired of the arc.
End of QoL stuff
Looks like I'm going to fork over the money for another one year renewal. NC++ so far is pretty kick @ss.

I don't know about anyone else but this is painfully obvious that the V-Day event will somehow be conected to the Marrige of Manticore and Sister Psyche.
According to a recent interview a wedding date hasn't even been set yet so they're only engaged, not married.
I think it'd be really cool if we got invited to their Wedding and some villain decided to crash the party. (Hero version)
Or We get to crash the wedding and wreck everything. (Villain version)
Prehaps insted of the normal Snaptooth mission we've had before this time Snappy will be crashing the Wedding and we'll go after him there.
Maybe two different versions of the mission for heroes and villains. The villain one being that Chimera and Mother Mayhem are allso getting married at the same time. (Do villains even bother with that kinda stuff or do they just skip that and go strait to bed? And I'm not talking about sleeping.)

The one thing I know for sure is that there will be an in-game marriage of Manticore and Sister Psyche. Valentine's Day would be the perfect time to pull it off

Very cool. I like the City Vault idea. I played another MMO that had a similar feature and it was fun to look up my characters and friends characters and see how they're progressing.
I'm also looking forward to the Valentines Event. I've unfortunately missed all the other ones, so it'll be fun finally getting to experience it.

Some players are not min/maxers. Some enjoy the game in their own way and don't care whether or not their character has been built to extreme efficiency.
When I pick a power, I'm not thinking of the numbers, I'm thinking "Hey, that sounds fun." I couldn't care less if the power I pick "cripples" my character.
An example: I created a character specifically to use the Super Speed power pool. I tried the Hasten power, but I didn't think it was very fun so when I got a respec I didn't take Hasten again. I've seen various talk over the years that Hasten is a "required" power, but it's just not for me.
Getting this Real Numbers thingy is great for the players that wish to use it. But I hope it's not going to be used to tell me a character I created is "crippled."
