While I've certainly felt as if I were being actively antagonized by you from time to time, I wouldn't say that I've ever come to "dislike" you. If anything, I would say you have increased my capacity for temperance.

Heck, I'd be hard pressed to come up with anyone around here who I wholly dislike. The two that have come closest were Golden Girl and that person that used to post around here particularly around the time of Champions' release who had a large-eyed puppy for an avatar. There was a time when I might've thought those two were one and the same, actually.

You create a new folder titles Scripts and added it to the directory

all it dose is when you log in the chat window shows you are now logged in to the channels instead of rejoining each and every time you zone or return to the game.

It may have been that I was on occasion if I had a strong opinion on a topic, but then I'm pretty sure there were other topics that I agreed with you on just as strongly and aggravated others.

Ah yes puppy dog girl. She stopped posting shortly after I called her on the BS story she was spouting about how she couldn't get her money back on her LTS to CO. I think what upset her the most was my posting screenshots of the unedited posts she made a month earlier stating she got refunded the money on her LTS.

Make sure the two files you create (auto_login and auto_teleport) don't have the .txt extension in their names. They need to just be plain files.

Rep was a forum game but some people used it badly (I won't say I didn't a few times, either - poor impulse control is me).

Anyway, I don't dislike you. I think I was frustrated a few times, but that's true with a lot of people I've had arguments with, even those I agreed with except on one particular point, whatever that may have been. Some of them I do miss (such as blueeyed - I don't know whatever became of him - or Concern).

I never thought you disliked me Bella (maybe indifferent at times but not actual dislike), you like most of our community are mature enough to not to hold grudges over a (sometimes heated) discussion on the internet (It's one of the things that made our community great. People could be at eachothers throats in one discussion, and in another providing helpful tips to a new player), and the ones that aren't ... well their antics as they blow things out of proportion is pure entertainment.


Remember the guy that requested the subs be reduced because he couldn't afford to play because he spent to much on other video games, Pron, gambling, and about a dozen other things and got mad because people pointed out he could afford the game if he cut back on a few of those items he listed?

Or the guy that thought the Science Booster would encourage children to crossdress?

Or the guy that argued that items given away on Freebie Friday was like giving a starving man rotten food that would kill him?

Or the guy that argued he couldn't afford the Store prices because he only made 70k a year.

Pure gold.

I always thought you were an informative and amusing dissemination of information, Forbin. Of course, I was never the focus of any of your more "witty" posts. So, that might have something to do with it.

I remember getting neg repped by accident once. The person apologized right afterwards in a PM too. I told them that I wasn't really concerned about it since I didn't really consider the Rep system all that important. They were nice enough to pos rep me later.

Oh, and racists only has 2 "s"'s.

There I was between a rock and a hard place. Then I thought, "What am I doing on this side of the rock?"

Make a "Scripts" folder in the main game folder and put the new files in it. Like Forbin said:

If it doesn't say that you've joined the channels when you log into the game, make sure the two files don't have a ".txt" extension.

That is the thing about me, and my "discussions" on the forums. I never hated anyone. Sure, I'd get mad and blow up sometimes, but I tried not to hold grudges for very long. Though there is one player that is on my permanent "get lost" list, but that was their both in and out of game actions that caused that to happen (and that took a couple month's effort on their part).

Pretty much the same here. I've argued about stuff I felt strongly about but after years of working CS I gave up on anger and grudges long before I started playing MMO's. Laughing is a lot easier, feels better, and is more satisfying.

If you (like I did) have trouble getting the .txt extension off the file, you may need to unhide extensions on file names.

In Windows Explorer (Windows 7 at least) go tools -> Folder Options -> View tab. Make sure 'Hide extensions for known file types' is unchecked.

I'm sure the Windows literate knew that already, but some of us take a while figuring things out. :-/

I think you have to go to the actual store page to see. I don't know about the US, but here it was part of their "midweek madness" sale, so I'd be surprised if that was still running. (and, having just checked, it isn't here in Europe).

Remember, TSW works on single server tech. Despite the names, it's really all one server, which is why you can team cross-shard. So no need to roll a new toon on Huldra.

I'd still have to team with someone on Huldra in order to join them on the Huldra dimension. I can't make that transition on my own.
