The bunny made me LOL. It truly did. I like the approach to quests, that sounds innovative and fun.
Too bad. I'd have tried it after seeing this. I like having different games to switch between and play with my various friends. I play COH with one group, Aion with another, and have a lifetime sub to LOTRO (and play occasionally still).
It could be the best MMO of all time. I won't touch it as long as COH is cancelled. Put it in my sub and store purchases in your pipe and smoke it, NCSoft. It's the last money you'll ever get from me

Great review and nobody can take a way that it looks like a good game, Sadly NC own it so I will never get to see it on principle.
Edit - But y'know, if we can save CoH maybe I will get to play GW2.

...come to think of it, he'd probably be nice and loud if he did a video on our own situation.
EDIT: Hrm. This reminds me that I haven't seen much from him lately. He's been a member of a collection of reviewers that call them selves 'Blistered Thumbs' under the 'Channel Awesome'...channel. I'm going to have to see if he's still with them.

The 'boycott' thing is really cute and humorous. They have sold so many copies of Guild Wars 2, that Arenanet STOPPED SELLING IT to make sure they can appropriate resources to servers first. You aren't affecting anything - they won't notice it at all.
...not only that, but didn't someone just show how CoH was only 2% of NCSoft's income for the last several quarters? Do what you have to do - only realize it will never affect them in any noticeable way.

I've always liked Angry Joe's videos. I don't necessarily agree with his viewpoint most of the time, but he's still one of the better reviewers out there. I liked his coverage of the whole Mass Effect 3 ending debacle.
while it is true that the boycott movement is not gonna do much, i still refuse to support them if they kill off this game, i dont care how good guild wars 2 is or how much money its making them, they still lost a potential customer here, and even though ill im only 1 person, if coh does go down i will still start spreading hate of ncsoft saying that they could randomly shut your game down at any time without so much as a warning.
if ncsoft is not willing to sell coh and lets it die, then ncsoft will not receive any support from me and if anything negative publicity in the form of word of mouth and internet posts.
right now i am working with all of the other people who are trying to be reasonable with ncsoft to get them to sell coh to either the current devs or the titan network guys, but if they are unwilling to be reasonable then they get no more chances
I had pre-ordered months back so I am an owner of the game.
No sub to deal with.
No more money to be given after the news of CoH/V closing - barring a change of mind on their part.
The gameplay is good.
But...
I can't fly.

I don't want to support NCSoft or their products. I already purchased GW2 and don't find it to be anything special. I see no reason to support a company with so little regard for its customers.
The City of Heroes Community is a special one and I will always look fondly on my times arguing, discussing and playing with you all. Thanks and thanks to the developers for a special experience.

Oh Jayboh, Jayboh. Remember the beginning of the video, he is handing money over fist for a product and service? I too have handed money over fist for CoH, for the game, for the extras, for the up time. Now the people I have handed all this money to have decided that they have had enough of my money and they want their ball back. I say ok, I will never risk playing ball with you again in that case. Boycott? Don't be fooled into thinking all people are as you blindly see them. I don't care what people want to boycott. My own principles will prevent me from making bad decisions with NCSoft in the future. The world isn't always as you see it kid.

I haven't watched the video yet, but has anyone thought of contacting Joe for the Save CoH front? To make a video or at least mention the effort the community is making?

We have another, it is the word for a male common fowl but it only shows stars when I write it - but I can assure you it is also a local term of endearment and has been for centuries.

Seems all-right.
The lack of trade is a huge one, not a minor one, for a game with loot.
Irrelevant though. I am not going to give NCSoft any more money.

The 'deposit collectibles' thing is brilliant and I wish CoH had something like that. You can be anywhere and hit that button, and all your stuff goes into your bank. You never have to go to your bank to retrieve it either when you craft.
