If that's the case and neither PM nor corporate email will reach you anymore, to all the devs I've chatted with, worked with, or argued with, if you want to reach me drop me an email. Zwillinger should have it, and these two ex-patriot devs should as well.

I was looking at my NCsoft master account today while I was putting in the codes you had just released and I saw the creation date of the account. I was floored when I thought about it for a moment December 24 2003. I had created that account just to play in the beta of CoH.
I told my friend about that over a chat and I was just saying.. next year it will be 10 years since I started playing city of heroes. I was talking about everything that was going on in the game, how I was going to be making a druid character and I was looking forward to the bright future of the game. I got all nostalgic on him and gushed about the game (he was used to hearing this).
The day I first logged in I was amazed and hooked, I might not have always been able to afford to play but I always watched, talked and waited until life adjusted so that I could play once more. I was playing last night running the SSA arc and I thought just how much fun I was having. I was planning a respec for the character I had created all those years ago and perhaps tied back down to the concept rather then just going with the most uber character I could ever build. It never even dawned on me that the game would be closing down anytime soon.
When it comes time for the last day.. I'll be here the entire day, playing my favorite characters and remembering all the good times, good friends and great company I've had along the way. I will remember a great many times and miss them.
Thank you.. thank you for the past 9ish years. I wish you all the best in whatever you do next. I hope to run into you again in some game, either as a player or once again as a dev.

But...regardless. Thank you. Even when we never see Paragon City again, it will always live on in our hearts and dreams. And we can never thank you enough for opening the door for us.

Seriously, this game is awesome. I've been here whenever I could afford to be from the 3 day head start. My account will still be active when the gates close. You guys are the best dev team I've ever seen. I hope you all find yourself on your feet somewhere else.
Incidentally, I'm spiteful enough that I hope your next projects somewhere else, wherever else, kills everything NCSoft has on the table. But, I'm spiteful and bitter :P
I want to thank the devs for the past 9ish years I've been here.
And a special thanks to Castle for finally removing the -5% def from Unyielding 
Oh, and another special thanks to whoever put Coyote in the tutorial way back when. That's when I knew this game was going to be special.

i dont even know what to say.. when I was first considering playing an MMO (and I had said several times that I would NEVER play an MMO) COH was the first that I enjoyed and really got into.. I have not been active of late.. and I suspect that there are many members that have grown inactive and that is one of the reasons for sunsetting this amazing game.. I will miss the friends that I have made and the smile this game puts on my face when I pull up one of my many toons. I'll make a point to be around a bit more as we find out the time line when things will be shut down.. take care

But I have not given up hope for City. Its the one game I've always come back to and loved. Is there no company that will purchase it and keep it going? I would absolutely put up money on Kickstarter to see this happen. Please stay with us if there's anything that can be done

This game.... I've only been playing it since 2008, but it has been there through some really difficult times: My father's cancer, having a fiancee boot me out of her life, and a really nasty case of homesickness.
The Game may die, but the friendships remain. And really, that's worth every penny to me.
