Its a teleport aoe damage power yes but when used it instantly recharges and can be used another 2 times before its normal recharge time takes affect. This power can be used to say teleport into a group, nuke and then teleport back out very quickly. It also has a 120ft range

Looks like a nice set, don't get me wrong....but is anyone disappointed that a "ranged" AT is given secondaries that are "melee range" for activation?
I could see re-doing my Archery/Devs blaster with this powerset (not that I ever would!!!!) and it's fit into his "natural theme," but.....I want secondaries that are actually ranged.
Ranged is a MAJOR benefit to avoiding death for blasters. At least the way I play mine
Meh, wake me up when secondaries are actually ranged (or, like the mez protection, can be used at a distance and be benefical still.)

Now all we need is for it to say "FINISHER" in big letters across the screen every time you kill something.
The way it works is by applying mez protection to your character of exactly the magnitude of mez currently affecting you, plus one. It does give you mez resistance (which reduces duration of future mez) and mez strength (increases the duration of any mez you have), as well as a small to moderate heal. The power is powerful, but since it can only be used while you're CC'ed, under half health, or under half endurance, it needs to be potent when used in those limited conditions.

But you are going to HAVE TO bring other secondaries up to this level.
Boycott Ncsoft if they close down Coh.
I'm super happy to see these sets coming and I think they're doing a great job.
I have to be honest though and say that this Blaster secondary isn't quite what I was hoping for in a Martial Arts secondary.
I think the main offender for me is the first (have-to-pick) attack, Ki Push.
Don't get me wrong, it's a great idea and should be an awesome power (and many people will enjoy it... and even I will with the right concept).
It's just well beyond (enormously beyond) the "natural" set of powers some of us have been craving for a Blaster secondary. That is my only "complaint" about this. It's not really a complaint though as much as just a slight/tiny disappointment that this secondary is not the secondary I was looking for... move along.
I say this because the attack is a Repel and not a KnockBack... so, it creates this slow, lift and carry away the flailing enemy... I realize now, it's actually a great substitute for Force Choke, hehe...
I just would have preferred something (that you're forced to take) to be toned down for either concept... but they went with the Bullet Time flavor.
Still, I think both sets will be great additions to the game.
Honestly, I love what they've done with the Dominator Assault set and have to admit to wanting something along those lines for Blasters...

So, no, Ice Manipulation isn't "pushed out." It could be better than it is--and it will be in I24--but I'm not sweating it compared to martial combat. But who knows? Nobody has played martial combat yet.
