Well yes, I'm pretty early. Just started today.
But I'll go pay him a visit. -
So far I'm running with Elemental and Shotgun. But I haven't actually found a shotgun, so really I just have Elemental.
-
It appears to have fixed itself, for I now have buttons.
-
Pavilion dv7-4280us.
It has an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 6550 for a video card. At least, I think that's it. I don't actually know much about computers in general. -
I'm thinking more like... 100,000.
That should be the goal.
If we can get more people to sign the petition than actually play the game, we'd be golden.
Still, 20,000 is impressive. -
Apparently the kind that hates updates not specifically designed for it. Computer went ballistic, had to do a complete system restore of how it was yesterday.
-
I think the upgrade messed up my comp, actually. Now its insisting that it has no video driver at all.
-
I just have white text on a background. No scroll bars or actual buttons. Updating my video card to the latest version, hoping that will fix it.
-
I can click it and change, but there is nothing there indicating I can do so. No button, no text, nothing.
It also seems like there should be a scroll bar for the clothes, but there isn't. I can click around randomly and it will sometimes give me new options, but thats it.
And most of the customization options cannot be clicked on. -
Downloaded the game, took about ten hours. Finding the character creator confusing. How do I change the gender to male?
-
How? A Silver CO player has about a dozen preset builds to choose from, that you can only deviate from on certain levels. A free CoH player can make thousands of different builds.

Quote:I've always found redside to be in every way better than blue. Better content, better zones, better ATs before they got merged. What won't I miss?
The 'new' Atlas Park.
The 'new' Hollows.
Having to do the same itrials ad nauseum.
The Rogue Isles: There should never have been a facility to play a villain redside. It simply split the player base.
The same shape and tile set of indoor missions - and outdoor for that matter: A random generator for missions would have been great. -
I constantly play redside, most of my characters are villains, and quite a few fly.
Still don't see it much. -
Quote:I got a new comp. Now I can turn it up to Ultra without much lag, but generally keep it on Quality. I made a fire/fire blaster that heavily used Bioluminescent pieces because, holy hell, it actually glows! He is one of my favorite looking characters, and the fire is really pretty as well.I recently bought a computer and installed a new video card, so was finally able to enjoy some of the advanced settings of the game (love seeing my shadow as I fly near objects). A week later we get the news . . .
Water looks much better, and it actually causes distortions.
Reflective surfaces actually relfect, and my widow is now very shiny.
Shadows! -
Really? I rarely, if ever, saw it. Mostly it was just in mezzes, which kind of makes sense. You're frozen in a block of ice, you can no longer fly.
-
The engine is licensed (indefinitely) from Cryptic. They even have permission to use it in a second game if they want.

Yea, I could make that. Already got my new laptop, works great.

I agree that an MM is probably the easiest to solo with on SOs, though I would add that you should heavily consider Demons as well. A Demon/Dark and Demon/Time would laugh at all the game's regular content.
Also, Ninja/Time/Mace is very, very powerful and really fun. Ninjas are, most of the time, ludicrously squishy. Time is the only thing besides FF that is capable of keeping them alive (even the Genin) at higher difficulties. Mine is my main. He is built horrendously but still does 4x8 with ease. He and the Jounin are far over the soft cap, with the genin and the oni hovering right around it with Barrier. Farsight combined with Power Boost gives and absurd amount of defense, added to the -tohit in Time's Juncture and all the -recharge results in allies rarely dying. If they are hurt, you have the AoE HoT. Scorpion Shield puts you far over the soft cap with TJ taken into account.
It doesn't really mature until you get Farsight and access to Mace Mastery, and before that it can get pretty rough. -
Wow, Rad Armor looks fairly OP.
Then I remembered that was the tanker version, so it seems fine. -
Cimerorans have the most ST DPS, but I tend to like Warworks.
Oh wait, you mean story? I like the bit about the angels being the Dimensionless, that was cool.
