Martial Combat and Martial Assault
What's really sad is that I look at Ki Push (which is beautiful) and immediately wonder if a 1 second Repel effect could be ported into Focused Burst for the Kinetic Melee powersets. It's just one of those things where it's such a good idea (and clever implementation) that it really ought to not be limited to just Martial Combat.

I will say that I believe -Range should be moved from Eagle's Claw to Ki Push. It makes more sense for the KB power to get the -range due to the obvious synergy. Delivering -range with EC only synergizes with Burst of Speed.

This, really. Martial Assault just doesn't have a proper primary to pair up with. Mind Control probably would be the best bet.

There are lots of great uses for Martial Assault. Just none of them match up with the particular concept I had in mind.
The hard things I can do--- The impossible just take a little bit longer.
If numbers are so much more important than a teammate who is fun to play with, forget about the game altogether and go play with a calculator instead. -Claws and Effect-
I dont quite understand this either. It like another throw in for Dominators. There is no primary that matches thematically with the secondary and the reality is there probably never will be because I dont believe the dev team sees Dominators as a class that demands new primaries. Dominators basically get the left overs and ports from other sets and while this does work and I have quite a few Doms that I enjoy immensely, the fact that there is no natural or gadget Primary to team with this ( which many Dom players have been asking for) leaves me very sad and somewhat nonplussed.

Some form of Gadget Control for Doms/Controllers, port traps to Trollers, done.
Like others said, now i hope melee sets will get a little blaster love

They both look pretty cool. Assault looks a bit... Shuriken-heavy, but it's not bad. And put me down as another person who thinks Ki Push looks interesting in concept, but a little bit too over-the-top for a "natural" set. (It's the slow-mo repel that gets me.)
Also I really hope we get a pool-power (or even Incarnate) version of Burst of Speed. (I think I might prefer an Incarnate version so I didn't have to use pool picks on it.)
Also! I'll echo one of the questions asked during the live stream and request the alternate Storm Kick animation be ported to Martial Arts, if possible. Would be really nice to have it. (Wouldn't mind it being used for Street Justice, too, as someone above posted.)
And icing on the cake? Free for VIPs. <3 devs.
I said a while ago that I was waiting for I24 overview to see if we would get martial arts secondary for my future Water blast character...
Now I can wait patienly!

Finally, I've requested and /signed this so many times. And even for dominators, free for VIPs... Cant ask for more.
Seems like since Freedom, devs are focusing on my wishlist or something.

Ki Push is fine and should never be removed. It is one of the coolest powers ever. And to be replaced by something as boring as Web Grenade? Ew.

I don't even understand what "get the left overs" even means. They literally share their primary with controllers, so there's no such thing as getting a hand-me-down primary: when the devs make a control set, both archetypes get the same new-car-smell version. They share assaults sets with no one, so every one of them has to be specifically created for Dominators, and Dominators alone. They specifically got a Martial Assault set that no one else can use, work specifically dedicated to them and them alone, and that's being described as "left overs."

Throw Sand? really?? Become a hero they said..see the world they said..oh and throw dirt in peoples faces. Great. Also thats only..4? actual attacks, an assuming chi push isnt huge damage? I still dont like this business with all blaster secondaries getting an absorb..and a heal also in this case, as well as a tp!
The dom secondary..sadly does not really interest me at all. I tried shurikens on a scrapper and the look just was not working. Also, envenomed blades..cool idea..but HOW do blades add damage..to kicks? The old shoe blade trick?

The shuriken got new animations. Not the same as the ones you saw on your scrapper.
Or poisoned feet!
The new shiny is FREE for VIPs, and fills a long waited natural secondary for both blasters and dominators.
We got dark control and dark assault in I22 and people still complaining?

Thinking some more on this - I'm not entirely sold on the lack of a conventional Build Up in this set.
Its going to be a common thematic pairing with Dual Pistols and Assault Rifle, both of which lack Aim, leaving us with the same problem as Assault Rifle/Devices - a thematic Blaster pairing that lacks on-tap burst damage.
I'd reserve judgement until I've seen the numbers, of course, but all Blasters already get increasing damage bonuses as they attack with Defiance - Reach for the Limit may not be a great substitute for Build Up.

Yay Poisoned Feet! Is that like when you have bad sweaty feet? Watching Jay's youtube of teh set now..it does seem more interesting! But..the mez click..just seems WAY out of line. Every set getting an absorb/heal/rec power..Ok..I dont see it, but I can understand it. But just ONE set with a anti mez? Baaad idea.
Ok..changing my mind again. The Burst of Speed aoe sounds great..till I see the self damage. Self damage, on a squishy? So you get punishes for entering melee, awesome. Guess its lucky the set has that heal and mez and slow..

Self damage? I didn't hear anything about that.
It was in the displayed info when showing off Burst of Speed. Said info was described as inaccurate by Arbiter Hawk so it's probably out of the power
