I have many characters in this game. Some of them are level 50.
power amplifiers are a pure waste, guess im saving pts this week
So are the power amplifier hours game time or clock time? If I fire up the 8 hour amp and log after 5 hours, do I have 3 hours left when I log on the next day?

[edit] Oops, I forgot it's a 24 pack, so the sale is basically offering the 24 pack savings. It would feel like more of a sale if you were coming BELOW that price mark.

I have to admit I would have bought the 24 pack of super packs if it had also been 25% off... just doing the singles didn't entice me much.

Yay Hybrid-revamp is on sale (gets alot of amps)
As much as I would have liked the larger super packs on sale, having the one does make it more efficient to find what you want and stop rather than buy in bulk. Cost per pack for one is now the same as the 24 pack. Only thing I would have recommended is doing a smaller sale on the 12 pack, so it was on par with the 60 PP per pack. It seems to be worth 70 PP per pack otherwise.

That said I think they are one of the worst things ever put in the game. "I can't play the game so I will throw money at it and make it easier...." or worse yet, eventually they will make it so this type of booster is required for certain things, if not the whole game. That is something I expect out of Blizzard. Why not just sell maxed out level 50 toons while you are at it? I am sure they would sell well.
And we get more people not knowing how their character works...

Not sure how I feel about these power amplifiers.
If the game ends up starting to be balanced around having them, I'm going to be very disappointed, and there will be no more of my money going into the game.
I know it doesn't mean much in the grand scheme of things, as it's just one VIP subscription, but hey...
