Actually I saw nothing humorous here in the least. In fact after skimming over Arcanaville's latest hyper-detailed reply I just found myself thinking if people as smart as this weren't wasting this much energy on utter forum nonsense like this we as a species would've already cured cancer and terraformed Mars by now.

Oh and those same smart people probably would've figured out how to give us clothing in MMOs that realistically stretches over cleavage like it would IRL as well.

At least the costume pieces that are supposed to be "armor" appear to actually fit like armor. One of the things that always annoyed me when I was playing WoW was the way I'd make a female paladin or warrior, and her plate armor would be "skinned" onto her torso in exactly the same way a cloth shirt would be. That is, perfectly hugging every womanly curve and jiggling.

Everyone knows that whenever a female wears armor in a fantasy setting it always becomes chainmail... and bikini-shaped.

Personally, I've seen more credible proposals for terraforming Mars than for fixing the problems with Blasters; Arcanaville may be our last, best hope. Hopefully the solution doesn't similarly require a decades-long plan to deorbit a comet on anyone

I usually think steampunk is lame and overdone but Tesseract is pretty badass. She is meant to be like Mender Ghost Widow or something right?


Are we ever going to get an explanation of all the silly allusions in Ouroboros? Were they story hooks that were just left unfinished as focus turned to the boring "Praetorian" stuff away from the more "real world" stories?

I heard that rumour, I never saw anything pinned down in story though, did they ever elaborate on the real purpose of ouroboros etc? (I kind of got bored of the main storyline and just went to reading peoples' RP stuff instead since they went down the 'you must spend a bazillion hours to get stuff which lets you do this other story group mission'... "Ok ok we admit it, we're adding world of warcrap raids haha mooks!" route (I think the best times were when normal story missions were the best XP played in groups/harder and there was actually reward built into the game for making new friends from strangers found via group search and tells, something that not many other games do at all - nearly all seem to be designed to be played through as singleplayer games except at the end now...))
