    Was that from a multinational corporation with a history of scorched earth policy (see: Tabula Rasa, which was ALSO making a profit at the time it was closed) rather than leaving behind anything for anyone else, like NCsoft?

    If it happens in a blue moon, cool, but it's horrible if people put all efforts into this and then people are left with nothing having trusted in "Tony" to do everything for them. Don't let that happen, that's all I'm saying. My post before the last wasn't even directed at Tony, but the cult of "NCsoft/Tony will save us" is ridiculous.

    The people that are actually doing constructive things are the cool people.

    Yes, I said that in the thread before I'm pretty sure, that's why they are even less likely to sell, like the article says, they are scared of competitors and obsessed with their image and not admitting failures.     Roleplayers did more for the community in like 3 years than you craps on that channel ever did, because we actually worked at getting new people into it rather than just a clique of friends obsessing about power and sad, sad, gossipy politics.     A suggestion (near the red bit near the bottom) for ripping the forum is on http://boards.cityofheroes.com/showthread.php?t=295982 but yeah, few people are likely to do that due to the awkwardness of setting it up, I haven't either lol

    This stuff should be for everyone, not just one small group... that always turns out bad. :/ (The Stanford Prison Experiment or youtu.be/iY57ErBkFFE — "Free flow of information is the only safeguard aganst tyranny [..] Beware of he who would deny you access to information, for in his heart he dreams himself your master.")...

    The cliques, power structures, smear campaigns, grudgematches, etc like it's some kind of realpolitik were the absolute worst thing about the community at times, but the best was when total strangers would happily work together, let's not have some kind of Committee with close friends running things only or it's bound to go bad :/ I've already heard there have been private, invite-only forums been set up :/

    I heard that rumour, I never saw anything pinned down in story though, did they ever elaborate on the real purpose of ouroboros etc? (I kind of got bored of the main storyline and just went to reading peoples' RP stuff instead since they went down the 'you must spend a bazillion hours to get stuff which lets you do this other story group mission'... "Ok ok we admit it, we're adding world of warcrap raids haha mooks!" route (I think the best times were when normal story missions were the best XP played in groups/harder and there was actually reward built into the game for making new friends from strangers found via group search and tells, something that not many other games do at all - nearly all seem to be designed to be played through as singleplayer games except at the end now...))

    6+ years on this forum, I find it very hard to believe that you don't put it on. I bothered to do a google this time, and fine, you're legit, "marketing advisor" for NCsoft and helped advertise the travesty that was Aion when NCsoft murdered tabula rasa (which was also making a profit at the time) to recycle it's servers etc, etc but... the deceptive style is just plain creepy.

    The map stuff doesn't address my point that missions are not stored either - short of getting the actual stuff from ncsoft the best way would be to get a demo files section on paragonwiki or something for each mission and make sure that every mission has at least 2 different demo files from different people, or something like that
