The problem is Zwill can be considered somewhat a spokes person of Paragon, and what he intends to be just a joke, could be taken as official word that Paragon do not give a fig about that particular posters concerns.

You know what, Ive just had one of my depressive mood switches, looking at this in the post elative light of a serious down mood, I cant believe what I fell for.
Anybody else realised that this was announced when the super packs went live? That its just a way to distract us from being pissed off about their attempts to gouge us?
Here look shinnies, look at the shinnies, dont complain about the $20+ costume set, cus look shinnies.

As for the Carnie stuff, whilst yes I agree that the sash could go on males, there are NO Carnie males that wear the harlequin masks. They wear buckets on their heads. The pack needs to be relevant to the theme it's for as well as gender equal. Personally, I think they should correct one BIG annoyance and give all three models a proper Kheldian sash rather than making us use the Carnie one which barely suffices. |
I WAS offended by Zwill's post. It was the most unprofessional thing I have ever seen him do, and it bothered me because I have a great deal of respect for him as our community manager. IF I didn't respect him so much, it would not have bothered me. Is what it is I guess.
As for the parts, I do hope they take equal time to port the parts that females have that males could use. I somehow doubt it will happen though.

Some people's math seems to be slightly off when talking about "development time" on future cossie options.
What has happened in the past is M/H get A and F get B. Total development time of A+B.
What is happening now is M/H/F get C and F get D, where C+D = A+B.
Now, C>A (in terms of time), which means that D<B, meaning that M/H are getting more development time on their costumes, and F are getting less time spent on the unique female pieces.
I fail to see a problem with more development time being spent on costume pieces that everyone can use.

Since you're finally rolling a female toon in I22, this doesn't even hold water, but I still have trouble grasping how giving people who do have female characters something extra is unfair to you.

Besides, there's no reason we can't buy the new shinies and complain about the Super Pack-gated costume sets.

And even so, it still doesn't detract from the fact that a Dev spent her own time to give us, the players, something that we have asked, begged and pleaded for and that it's been given to us at no extra cost. The Superpacks may be a blatant cash grab but it's efforts like this, listening to feedback and making reparations that remind me why I love this game and the development team so much. So thank you.

Wow. I may actually be spending point on the Gunslinger pack, something I had previously decided never to do. And can't wait to see how the baron coat looks! Thank you!
I really don't care if the female models get unique parts, and the male parts. What bothers me is that I read males are never going to get unique parts again. What bothers me is that it is ok to complain about gender equality when females are the underdog, but as soon as males say something they are shouted down, and by an effin community rep none the less.
I like fairness and equality. I just feel that is no longer something the devs care about.
I highly doubt the Devs are going to 'Never ever ever ever, no never' do any unique parts for Male/Huge models. It's never been true in the past, and I don't see it starting now. I'm pretty sure they are well aware of that.
