TW is in the current Live build. Not just "enabled" yet.

It was available as a selectable power set this morning (6:45 AM CST). It behaved the same way as Street Justice did before it was enabled. It allowed you to click on the cart icon then it went to an "UNKNOWN SKU" error via the character creator.

I mean, we've only got three more Tuesdays before Thanksgiving and one of those will be the Pilgrim hat. Hopefully not just the Pilgrim hat, but with stuff like this week, I wouldn't be surprised.
Not to burst your bubble or anything but have you heard of front-loading? As in, the Titan Weapon thing today is likely a bug, though it may not be, since Titan Weapon has been in the game in an un-enabled state for several months now. So, um, sorry, but you're comment is less than helpful because you're less than informed.

As for the pilgrim hat, THAT would be cool. It's real name is 'slouch hat', no idea why, but then, I'm not THAT old, so I don't have experience in real life as to why it was called that.

>Bonnet

Oh god yes.

If it's the kind of bonnet I'm thinking of, this game could seriously use more bonnets.

Yea, weak Paragon... we all know better then to buy consumables that have no positive effect. The baseball bat is craftable in Invention system, the Warwolf is a fetch from a heroside mission, as is the holy shotgun shells... It's a decent deal for the revives and the dual inspirations if people are even using those, but I don't know that I have seen it used outside of the Paragon Rewards Program awarded ones...

Please make sure the next offering is better... We want a Wolves MM, and possible a Noncombat Pet for everyone else...

Thanks

Technically, it IS a 100 point discount on just getting 5x Self Revive and 5x Precise (Large Acc/Dam) dual insps, ignoring everything else.

Not saying I'd buy it... consumables are generally priced much too highly in the store. But if you're going to complain about the price of the Undead Survival Kit as a whole, then you need to get to the root of the problem and complain about the cost of the individual pieces:

5x Revival (Self Rez) -- 200 PP
5x Precises (Large Acc/Dam) Dual Insp -- 300 PP
Holy Shotgun Shells (75 Charges) -- 80 PP
St. Louis Slammer (30 Charges) -- 20 PP
Warwolf Whistle (5 Charges) -- 80 PP

Main Hero: Chad Gulzow-Man (Victory) 50, 1396 Badges
Main Villain: Evil Gulzow-Man (Victory) 50, 1193 Badges
Mission Architect arcs: Doctor Brainstorm's An Experiment Gone Awry, Arc ID 2093

Babies shouldn't frolic with shotguns - especially not when they're in a town.

What I suspect happened was, the alterations Synapse made to the set last week (renaming and such) have not been brought over to the Live. And since today's patch really didn't do much, except fix some of the cosmetic issues we were having with weapon sets (including Titan Weapons), I assume it'll be corrected in time for next week's patch.

I mean, we've only got three more Tuesdays before Thanksgiving and one of those will be the Pilgrim hat. Hopefully not just the Pilgrim hat, but with stuff like this week, I wouldn't be surprised.
I think today was maybe going to be the day that it was "supposed" to be released, assuming no major issues were found when it was tested.

Two things probably stopped that: 1. The snafu with it not enabling on the test server when they wanted, and the testing of the Halloween trial precluding taking test down to work on it, so the start of testing was delayed. 2. Issues were found with the performance of the set at low levels, and with Build Up being ultimately self-defeating because of momentum.

The second one, Synapse has some changes that went into beta a week or so ago, but one of those later got reverted (and as far as I know, the reversion has NOT made it to beta yet). It'll take a while to re-test, and to separate the changes from the rest of issue 21.5.

Give it a month.

I see you endorse Infants Frolicing with Shotguns in Cities or Metropolises though

Or maybe all we need is a double-handed chainsaw option - supersized for Titan Weapons / less obnoxiously sized for katanas - complete with aggravating sound loop?

I'd pay for that, or a one-handed option of the same for Dual blades and Broadsword. And maybe a big-huge-obnoxious circle saw blade for a shield option, too.

<Looks at everyone as they back away from me>

NOW what?!?

EDIT in response to Nos482's edit:

YAR.

How about a power-tools Ancillary Power Pool...

More could/should be done with the Power Pools. There are many things that might not merit a whole power set, but would make an awesome 4-5 power Pool...

I'd like to see an undead roasted turkey pet, personally. Non-combat's good...

...if it were a combat pet, it could periodically drop giblets and such out of its stuffing hole for an AoE Sleep effect... just sayin'.

Let's see.

TW sound effects were added about a week ago or so. And with that is done, file wise.

Spewing nonsense like "Oh, I heard from somewhere that Titan Weapons isn't going to be release any time because I read somewhere some other power set that hasn't been officially been recognized at all is going to be released first" isn't remotely helpful.

Of course, unless you're naive to think that just because one piece of data shows up that the power set has been "in the game" for months is an indication anything is remotely complete. Let's not forget Street Justice's first set of data was added back in January.

Versus, say Staff Fighting, which was June-ish if I recall. And is incomplete in any builds available to outside sources.

That is the one you're referencing right? Unless, you trying to claim to the practically nonexistent MM set, in terms of data, is coming soon. Or the "We're trying to be cutesy by denying the existence of a wolf/animal MM" set routine. Since the rumored new armor set is/was still going through approval.

You know what I would pay for? An unlock token that would give me access to a second Epic/Patron pool to mix and match with my primary one.

I bet the conversation went something like this:
Dev1: "Crap, Titan Weapons isn't ready! What do we do?"
Dev2: "That's the day after Halloween, lets throw together some temp powers and stuff and call it a set for zombie apocalypse survivers."
Dev1:

Perhaps. I was thinking that, for future Market Releases (trying to be slightly on topic here) maybe, MAYBE, there could be paid expansion packs for more robust weapon options than what we've seen in the past. By which I mean, weapons with animations and / or sounds that are more advanced than the 'normal' ones.

Chainsaw weapons? Vanguard rifles WITH the energy bayonets? Weapon auras, IE electricity, flames, poison, etc? Seems possible to me, I know I'd plunk down cash for 'em.

You know what? Since you're not even remotely interested in being open-minded, such as where you're blasting me for - somehow - not knowing things I already said I knew, I'll just call my attempt to reason with you a big mistake and move on, if that's ok with you and your anger issues?

A whole lot of fluff for too many points.

But if you'd added a chainsaw temporary power I would have bought it in a heartbeat.
