I was really waiting for Titan Weapons (wishing to reroll one of my first toon).
Of course, i'm more than disappointed about no being able to buy the powerset right now, even if i was sure it would be available after the downtime (it was on the char creator), but.. oh well.. sh*t happens.
But...THIS ? Are you really serious ?

I'm really waiting for TW, I was expecting something today.
maybe not TW, but the i21.5, or something worthy on the store, not this $5 temp power crap.
English isn't my birth language, so don't blame me if I do some mistakes. thank you !

* 75 Holy Shotgun Shells (the shot gun evaporates on the last use) that DO NOT GUARANTEE a hit with each expended charge
* Warwolf Summoning Whistle (5 charges)
* 5 charges of the Self-Revive Power
* 5 Large +Acc/+Dam Dual Inspirations

Holy Shotgun Shells (75 charges) - (normally 80 pts)
St. Louis Slammer (30 charges) - (normally 20 pts)
Total Value: 680 pts
Discount 280 pts en toto.

Maybe if this pack was offered 2 weeks ago for like 200 points it -might- have made some sense for a special Halloween themed offering. As it is it just misses the mark on multiple levels. Better luck next time Paragon Studios... *shrugs*

The additions to the pack are similarly immaterial. Just because they were overpriced before doesn't mean they aren't still overpriced.

Lol, this board will make drama out of anything. Something has to go up every single week. If you don't like it, say meh and move on. It is not an "insult" to offer you something you don't want.
This does indeed seem lackluster and a complete waste, but I don't care. Not gonna buy it, just wait for something else.

EDIT @ Captain Moodswing: I do agree. My only dissapointment is that this is two or three weeks in a row of 'blah' releases, I'm here peddling hope that next week will be better, if anyone's buyin'.

That's my take on the matter.

Disappointing at best. These expensive consumables just aren't worth it. I haven't even claimed any of the inspirations that I got for being a veteran player.
Maybe there are enough people who have money to burn to make this sort of thing worth it, but if you really want to sell things to the majority of players, the marketing guys need a reality check. In general, we view temporary powers and consumables as worth much less than permanent unlocks like powersets or costume parts. Half of the stuff in this pack would either get deleted or rot in the temp power list forever on most characters. The concept is amusing (though a week late), but the actual items just aren't worth very much to us. At 40-80 points, if pushed at the start of the Halloween event, you may have been able to pick up a few takers in the spirit of the event.
At this time and price, this is just a little sad.

Sorry, but if all that is true, you might have a longer wait than either you or I want for TW. Me, I'm hoping there's an impervium statue of Statesman as a weapon option, still. I'll keep mentioning that as long as I'm waiting for it in the hopes that it'll get added...
