At the end of the day, the Dev's aren't going to change the Mind Control set. It is too late for the scale of change you're asking for, and they cannot remove a power without incurring the wrath of the paying customers. So, you need to start thinking up a new primary set if you want a psychic set with a pet.

A pet is an NPC that fights for you. A confused enemy is obviously not literally a pet, but acts in a lot of ways very much like a temporary pet.

Also you get full xp for a pet defeating an entity but you get either reduced or no xp from a confused entity defeating an entity, so can someone please help me here, am i wrong?

Mind Control needs no pets for Mind Control creates pets from whatever it is being fought. That's what Confuse and Mass Confusion are for.
So no. No to any pets being given to an awesome set which has no need for them.
Also, regarding your assessment of Terrify: you must be joking.
Please do not make ANY suggestions about a set you obviously have no idea about how it works. My main which has been being played close to 7 years now is a Mind/Empathy Controller. He does not need ANY changes to his Primary set. It's awesome as it is, thank you very much.
I DID CHANGE MY MIND (as quoted earlier....scroll up) , I CHANGED IT TO ANOTHER TYPE OF MIND CONTROLL WITH A PET.<--- was that clear enough for you???? i would appreicate it if this thread was kept on a possitive note, so try and keep your cyber bulling to yourself. -

I know some people like Mind Control specifically because it is the only control set without a pet. Removing any of the powers for a pet would also be a severe break with the cottage rule, especially for a set that's doing quite well as-is.
A new mind or psi set like Yin's would be cool, though.

As for telekinesis id say that power is deff a keeper , because its unique, there is no-other power like it in the game( not to mention it realy is fun to use). -
Ok it would seem you both prefere mind controll as it is?
but wouldn't it be even better with a pet ,like Yins, aswell?
Take the plant controll set for an example, that set has both a mass confuse power (still mass even if its a cone depends on where you possition yourself before firing it off ) and a pet, now that is a great power set imo.

Would it be possible for the mind controll set to have a pet similiar to penelopy yins?(even if its a weaker version)
I don't know about anyone else but that is the main reason why i don't play that set due to lack of pet.
In fact (speaking for myself) that would be a set that i WOULD actualy pay for!!! -

Ill deff follow your advice if im still having trouble, but so far so good ill see whats it like when i push it to the max, as for ultra mode on this card i have my settings mainly on recomended , there i can see reflections in water and glass, shadows move ect ect.. but does get a bit laggy when its on full ultra mode (this might be the chance i get to get the wife to buy me a new grathics card for x-mas)

Hi all, i was wondering if anyone has an idea on which is the best driver for me to download (asuming it is the driver).. im using an ATI Radeon HD 4600 series.
My problems started after that latest download when CoH login screen said my drivers where out-dated, so obviously i downloaded the newest driver i could the "Catalyst 11.10", Thats when my problems started i would crash at least twice a session, NPC's would jump all over my screen (as if they were time warping... sorry cant think how else better to explain this
) and my game would completly freeze for 4-5 minutes at a time.
Now that to me is enough, being from no problems what-so-ever to this.. my game is almost completely un-playable. Anyway heres what ive tried so far.. ive downloaded and tested the following drivers: Catalyst 11.10, Catalyst 11.9, catalyst 11.8 and the catalyst 11.7..No luck (i wish i could say ive tried them all but that is realy time comsuming and im sure its not doing my computer any good either) ive run the repair program on the NCsoft installer, ive de-fragged my comp, cleaned my system and toned down (to bare minimum) my in-game settings. Nothing has worked.
Any help or sugestions would be greatly appreciated

personaly i would take the offline/e-mail sg invite over any new power they implement, maybe because ive had my own sg + vg for about 5 or so years ,i had 2 accounts at the start so it was easier for me to invite alts ,but it soon became apparent that i could no longer afford them both. Since then my sg has decreased in numbers thanks to my alt-isist
So if any devs are reading this PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE get this in game. -
As the title says for those who prefere solo play to invite thier own alts to thier sg/vg

Is this service bugged or something? because i cannot access anything, it doesnt remember me, so at first i thought it was me maybe i forgot my password ,after clicking the forgot password link and going through thier date of birth security checks i get a message saying this service isnt available.... what am i suppose to do?????? anyone else having similiar problems?

In any case IIRC that card is AGP, you won't be able to find an AGP card that can do much more than that one. If you happen to have a PCI express version, you may be in luck.
