Discussion: When Do I Get My Paragon Points and Reward Tokens? (VIP)

Ok.. let's see.

Got 1st token after i21 on Oct. 12th, got a token on the 25th which i assume is my 2 year vet date, but i never got the badge.

CS also told me that i will get my Token on the 28th, and their calculation seems off to me too.

Let's see what they say:
Every month after i21 launch you will get a token.

So, take away billing dates (for now). One full month of being VIP, uninterrupted, is from 13th to the 13th.

It's when u have a lapse in activity that they should change the date.
Say, you had an active account and you billing date is the 8th, but u need to bridge a few days and resub on, say, the 10th.
That's two days you were not VIP, meaning the 13th > 13th becomes 13th > 15th > 15th.

the 28th of November is a month and a half after October 12th. Two and a half months after the LAUNCH of i21. So their own time line seems to again differ with what they claim.

I get my useless server transfer on the 1st, got my points on the 8th, which is my billing date. But my tokens are what they are messing up.

And YES, i'm STILL waiting on my 2 year VIP badge, and even when CS tells me i have earned it, they can't give it to me?

Just adding my pseudo-monthly report on how this is functioning, or not.

Billing Date: 22nd of the month.
Received Paragon Points: On the 23rd (possibly due to log in time)

• Result: Paragon Points are accurate as far as I know.

• Result: According to what players have said, my tokens are accurate (i received one "extra" at launch). But according to time passed since Freedom launch, I am one short.

What is the reason that tokens are tied to our old vet reward dates?

Is that somehow helpful to someone?

Is there a reason why aren't they tied instead to our bill date?

Why the vestigial system?

and is there a pool going as to which day tokens will start showing up?

Last month the prevailing wisdom was the 28th, but they showed up on the 23rd because of something.

It's now the 23rd of this month. So I was wanting to check the action on that.
If there's not a pool yet, maybe I could be the book for it.

All of my accounts got tokens today. It's not my billing day. It's not my old veteran's rewards days (those were all over the place across the accounts.) I don't know whether this token is for October, November, December, or 1982.

Oh and I got a random token on one account earlier this week.

*sigh*

I suppose one day they might be able to explain this to us, but meanwhile, at least they had the time to slap a big red "Buy More Points" button on the account screen.

part of our monthly paid game, is the 400 (+150) paragon point...

so i pay to have each month 400 (+150) paragon points.

i had 550 points on october 12th... we are now november 25th...

i think that 43 days are more than a month...

so you are not doing what your are paid for.

you could give us more points, you can t give us less points.

So if you plan on giving us the paragon points on december 1st (instead of november 1st)... think about giving more than 400(+150) points...

Wow, it's now been more than 50 days since this thread was started and we still have no idea what's going on.

And, apparently, neither does NC/PS.

So...what's the over-under on the chance of tokens being granted on the 28th?

I couldn't check on the 23rd through the 25th, but I do seem to have my reward token now. I guess it caught up, and I will check on December 23rd for the next one.

Ok i received my 550PP today.

as my bill is paid on the 28th, it's not illogic... but only 550 is not enough, as my last 550 PP were deliverred on the 10/12...

So you could give me 550PP on 10/29 and 11/29 : very cool

Or you could give me 550 + 550/2 PP on the 11/29 : exact number of PP you owe me.

But 550 on 10/12 and then 550 on 11/29, is 2 weeks without any paragon point... why?

Why some players would have less Paragon points than others...

Paragon Points begin the same day for everybody, so everybody must have the same amount. And for reminder, PP don't cost you anything... so there is greed in your way of doing this.

if i had created my account 2 days later, i would have had my paragon points for 28 days now, and would have my next point in 2 days... so basicaly i would have 550 more paragon points, is it your logic?

i feel you are stealing PP from me, i can t understand why some players have 550 more paragon points than me, as i could have many years of paying more than them.

the leading word here is : prorata!

Somewhere far back in this thread, I believe I complained that the late delivery of points would result in missing out on special sales. That's turned out to be the case with the extended Black Friday sale:

My billing date is the 1st, so this would be perfect timing - if the billing department had their database working correctly. Since it's evidently still not, there's little expectation that those affected will get their paid-for-in-advance VIP points in time.

Customer "support" 101: If you have no idea what's going on, ignore ignore ignore. When pushed, throw out a random time/date. Chances are, your customer will eventually give up in frustration and you can close your ticket as a success.
