Im aiming for this weekend, probably Saturday afternoon-ish (east coast time)

Hey yall, Im wondering if anyone would be interested in joining me to do that old chestnut, the Cavern of Transcendence trial? I've had it available to me for years now just never got around to doing it and nowadays I dont think anyone really plays the Hollows story arc anymore, at least I can't recall anyone looking to put together a team for this trial in years. So anyone up for it? Maybe any other old timers like me who still need the (now very rare) badge? Drop me a note here and let's get it together! I'm also interested in the old Sewers / Hydra trial if anyone is into that one, it's really pretty old too.

"Lag behind" with the badges? Have you gotten any (formally veteran reward) badges since "Freedom" went live?!?!? Has ANYONE?!?!?!? We're paying for the damn things AND NOT GETTING THEM AT ALL AND THAT IS ********.

And the freekin' BADGES! Seriously, those badges are something WE'RE PAYING FOR and not receiving! It's been 6 months! Part of the money they still get from me goes to those badges, I'm paying for them and NOT GETTING THEM and that, at 6 months feels like a f'in RIP OFF. Feels that way because in fact it is a RIP OFF. "City if Heroes, come for the capes, stay for the RIP OFF."

For me, it's mainly just not having that "vet" badge, particularly since I was scheduled to get my 5th year vet badge exactly 2 weeks after "freedom" hit. I'm ok with the paragon points coming when they come, and once I realized they were on a different schedule, I'm ok with the reward token coming when it comes. I got my yearly server slot a while back, I had forgotten that was even a thing I should expect and I dont really care that much about the transfer token but it's fine too.

It's the badge. I want my f'in badge.

So, I was supposed to get my 5 year "vet" badge way the hell back on Oct 11, here it is Nov 17, STILL no badge, dont even know when I last got a token, could not care less about ppoints....this is beyond annoying, this has the potential to really wreck this game. This and the ever increasing bugs.

So updated both my computers, tried to log into the game on my desktop, got this weird message "you must fill out the account and password fields to log in to your account" and Im like WTF? THEY ARE FILLED OUT (or "in" as I like to say). OK so my desktop is old and curmudgeonly so I moved to my brand-spanking new super duper laptop.....and got the SAME MF'ing message!!! WHAT IS THIS ****? Seriously, been a paying player since september 2005 and this game, mechanically is going to ****. Bad enough I dont have my most recent yearly "vet" badge but now, day off and I cant even log into the f'in game?!?!?!?

Honestly my "SG" is more of a glorified personal apartment (which hello, is something we frakking need here...plus mail to move things between characters) so I might just delete it. Less pain that way I guess.

I know of a brand new one that is actually *free*, has beautiful graphics, is very fun and has lots of (former) CoH players. I love it *shrug* and sadly I too can no longer afford CoH which sucks but there it is.

Hi, perhaps someone could either answer this question outright or direct me to a "red name" who can. My question is this.

I have my own SG with nearly all the members being my own characters. Only 4 members are not mine, but do belong to two friends of mine.

Due to "the economy" (mainly a root canal not covered by my dental insurance and furloughs for state employees to help close the state budget gap) I have got to cut many things from my bidget, one of which is this game for a while. How long is "a while"? Well who the frak knows?

Here's my question (finally! ). Once I've been gone from the game for say...three months (?), six months (?) will I lose "leader" status? Will it then be given to one of my friends who logs in regularly? I dont want to lose it because I probably will come back to the game eventually, even if its just for "free weekend".

OK, I'm kinda dense today, but please bear with me. Say you have an active account, you play at least once a week, but you've got characters spread out over all the servers. Now say one of your characters has not been played for more than 90 days. Since your overall account is active, you don't need to worry about that unplayed character losing it's name? Or do you?

Howdy folks! I know, I've only ever been in this particular forum....oh....once in all the time I've been posting to this forum, so please bear with me. I come here on assignment from the City Scoop ya see, so I need your help!

Here's the deal. I need to hear your stories. No, not your character's stories (as interesting as those are!) but rather YOUR personal stories of and about role playing! How do your role play? When? Where? How LONG have you been a role player? What exactly does it mean, to you, to role play? I'm also keenly interested in funny anecdotes about role playing!

Now please keep a few things in mind. First, I'm trying to gather together items for at least one, but hopefully a series of articles on role playing, and by "items" I mean stories, interviews, pictures, anecdotes and anything else related I come up with. Second, this being for the City Scoop, my focus is on role playing in City of Heroes / Villains (although I know many of you began RP-ing long ago in some other medium and I want to hear about that!). Third, and it probably should go without saying, please keep racy, sexy RP stories to yourself (unless they really, closely relate to my concept here). Finally, whatever stories you relate to me will be edited for clarity, content and space limitations, so please keep that in mind!

OK, you can either send me PM's or reply to this thread, or even send PM's to anyone on the Scoop staff and I'm sure they will forward that to me, or you could send it to TonyV as he and I are working on this jointly. I have found the RP aspect of this game to be rich, vibrant and integral to my enjoyment of the game, I know you do too, so help me share your POV with the wider community!
