Why do I feel sick knowing this is going to be redone?

Speaking of reboots, though, anyone know the likelihood of Reboot getting a reboot? Every time I see the word I think of the show. I miss Bob and Enzo.

6:30, actually. And before that is the equally horrible Ben 10: Race Against Time. 3 hours to be on any channel other than CN before the Thundercats.

Hell. Don't have cable TV.

Hell. Don't have BROADCAST TV for that matter.

Hell. My plasma screen is boxed up for shipping to Indy on Tuesday.

Schnarf schnarf!

Clicking on the linked image above will take you off the City of Heroes site. However, the guides will be linked back here.

Last word is that they are working on movies for Reboot, and there was the webcomic that picked up after My Two Bobs. Shame they didn't get the budget to do the 4 episodes after My Two Bobs and wrap the saga. Now Tony Jay the VA for Megabyte is gone and so is the VA for Captain Capacitor, two fun characters from the show.

Glad I got my box set of the whole series other month when they finally released Season 1 and 2 on DVD at long last.

There was a brief teaser trailer sometime back that showed an upgraded Mainframe and it ends with the cube dropping down and the new voice "Warning, incoming game!"

Interesting so far. Apparently Tygra is Lion-o's illigitamate or adopted brother, Kat and Kit are street urchins and best of all, Snarf is *just* a cat...no whining from him!

And Lion-o's dad is the voice of the original Lion-o! Haven't read anything about this ahead of time so that's probably common knowledge, but I liked it.

Yes, silent Snarf is a good thing! Just like how Cringer/Battlecat in the 2002 Masters of the Universe couldn't speak either!

Snarf that doesn't speak already makes this miles better than the original. Snarf, Snarf.

I always liked talking snarf just fine, but the new one is cute and I want a stuffed version.

The only thing I didn't really care for in this first episode was Mumm-ra's voice. Other than that, I thought it was pretty darned cool. If they completely avoid introducing those damned robo-bears, it might even be awesome.

Snarf had his moments of glory in the old series, to be honest some of the episodes in general early on and a few with the Lunataks were pretty campy thus making talking Snark seem like Shakespeare...

I don't know, either. I'm not saying Thundercats sucked back in the day, but it wasn't the greatest show ever made, either. Not like it'd be doing anything a disservice for someone to want to do their own version of the story.

As to the Reboot reboot, here's the only thing we have to go on.

Kitty Snarf, good.

Sexy Cheetarah, excellent.

Where is Panthro!?! Well, I'm assuming they'll find him at some point, out in the wastelands or whatever.

Also guessing Wilykit/kat will stow away on that flying ship in the commercials and that's how they join the crew.

Awesome... absolutely awesome. Now THIS is how a re-make of an 80s cartoon should be done.

I actually think I detected a plot and series-wide through line in there somewhere!

SWOOOOOON...

My mind wanders so often you've probably seen its picture on milk cartons. - Me... the first person version of the third person Steelclaw

The old series had memorable episodes and some interesting plots, but at times there were episodes that were indeed truly.....well let's just say truly geared for children, and that it seemed at times to take itself too seriously as a toy commercial cartoon.

Lion-O's annointment trial was an excellent story.

Though Beast Wars was more sequel then remake, there were definite plots in that series. Also the 2002 Masters of the Universe was an excellent reboot. Too bad they couldn't get to do the Hordak episodes that they were building towards. Especially since I figured another place of Hordak's power that could be used to bring him back.......Castle Greyskul itself. It was Hordak's power that created the bottomless abyss around it.

DVR'ed it.
Just got through watching it. Rather pleased with this reboot. Liked the Lynxo nod in there as well.
Still not sure about Panthro's overall design either and lion-o's is finally starting to grow on me.

If the overall story quality can be kept, this series'll be interesting indeed.

Thank you for the time...

They did a great job with this reboot. I can't wait to see more of it.

I have to agree this show was really well done.

Highlights:

-When Clawdius does the "Thundercats ho! (Since Lion-O's voice actor from the original series voiced him)

-The re-imagined concept of Thundera being on third earth.

-Cheetahra's new design and her being one of the *spoilers* was a nice addition.

-Kit and Kat's arc foreshadows where the book of omens is hidden (not a spoiler since it's pretty dang obvious lol)

-All in all a remake done right. Keeping the core concepts of the show while updating the world and storyline for today's audience.

I also really enjoyed this. It was a whole lot of fun. Great mythos building and explaining some of the curiosities of the old show.

I'm looking forward to seeing more!

We keep calling this a remake, when it's really more of a sequel.

They're on Third Earth already, with a new "Thundera" built around the old Thundercat base. There's a clearly stated history involving Mumm-Ra. Sure, the names of the main characters are the same, but it's not hard to imagine that the names would become popular to future generations.
