We need a tripple XP event to compensate for the delay.

NOOOOOOOOOOOO....I jumped through hoops to get some playing time during double XP. I begged my bosses into letting me off early on two days of it, and I talked a coworker into working for me on Saturday.
Everything had been planned, and set into stone, I was eagerly looking forward to getting some levels on my weak dom(Elec/Ice), and now, now....no double XP weekend??? I bet dollars to donuts my Boss has that schedule done already.....I will appear a loon if I try to get time off again...
I am crying. Drat it, I feel like a big baby, but I have tried desperately to get some time for this, I succeeded, and now....now....now my chances of getting time off for the new date is ...not good at all.
I am not kidding when I say I am crying....I tried so hard.....
So don't wait for heroes, do it yourself

This is really bunk. I took some time off of work! and now I cant get off for the new dates. You guys need to do better than this. really.
Wow this is just awesome for people who planned ahead and took time off work for dxp weekend.
It's even more awesome for people like me who have non-changeable travel plans for the weekend you re-scheduled it to.
Thanks for nothing.

Well, Double XP has just moved from the dates I will be on vacation with no access to a computer to dates where my wife is out of town and I have the condo to myself.
So....

I am dissapointed and that their decisions effect others.
No matter when it is, it will affect someone. They had given us 2 weeks notice for it starting this weekend, and now they pushed it back 2 weeks. Same amount of notice. Does it suck? Yes! Am I glad that they found an issue before it started and everyone complained about how poorly it was done? Heck yes!
No matter what happens someone isn't going to like the decision made. I know of some people who couldn't be around for it this weekend and will for the push back weekend. Can't pelase everyone all the time.
Thanks Paragon for nipping problems in the rear before they got to us.

You have got to be freakin' kidding! DXP moves to the one weekend in the entire year I won't be at home nor have access to a computer! That'll make this the 3rd DXP weekend in a row I've missed.

Thanks for realizing a potential problem with this, and taking the time to fix it instead of having to shut servers down over the weekend, and try to rush to fix the problem. I commend you for this.

Hi all,
An issue has cropped up that prevents us from activating Double XP on the live servers this week between July 28 and July 31. The good news is that weve identified the problem that has caused this delay, and will be putting a build up on the Training Room soon that should resolve the issue. We will also be hosting an event later this week in order to ensure the stability of the new build.
We understand this is will be a great disappointment for some of you and appreciate your understanding in this matter. We wouldn't be resorting to cancelling this popular event at such short notice if we could at all avoid it, you can be sure of that.
Instead, we will be hosting Double XP on all live servers between August 11 at 9:00 a.m. PDT (12:00 p.m. EDT / 5:00 p.m. BST / 18:00 CEST) until August 14 at 11:59 p.m. PDT (2:59 a.m. EDT / 7:59 a.m. BST / 8:59 CEST)!
