I would kill for a power that summons 4 clones of yourself that all hit the target with Knockout Blow at the same time. Perhaps this powerset will be similar to Storm, in that it will have straight up damage attacks at the end of the power set.

Also, one power called 88Mph that leaves a two fire trails behind and is an AOE attack like Shield Charge.

You wish list makes me sad (or half wishlist/half fear list?).

And Electric Control is considered good. Demon Summoning is good (I didn't have a problem with it) and Kinetic Melee is a top set.

Now I love Dual Pistols, but I'll give you that one.

So how exactly have the last four sets they've released been bad? o.O

Defense makes sense too, but using time to speed up end recovery for teammates also makes sense - that's why I mentioned regen over heals.

By the way, even though defense makes sense, we don't need yet another set of bubbles IMO, even with the wonderful changes coming in 20.5.

ok, going out on a limb here but do you think it would be something where you could freeze time at a particular instant? like freeze all enemies for x amount of seconds allowing your allies to beat them. Sort of like xavier freezing those around him in one of those xmen movies

So a AoE Hold perhaps with a larger radius (if it's PBAoE) then, well, since other sets have it..... I wouldn't call that one going out on a limb, I would say it's a "fer shure!"

Heck if it was long lasting it could be the tier nine power

Yeah, I'm thinking like perhaps everything becomes monochrome to indicate you are in time stasis and maybe it has a long recharge time but yeah, like a really broad AOE hold with some bells and whistles...and you're right, it would really be just enhancing what we have already. Funny though, never would have thought time manipulation would be the top of the list for new power sets

Well I totally see the +Regen going on.

I also don't want to see any power that is teammate target only in the set however. I want to see something along the lines of Dark Miasma, which has teammate buffing powers (and Time Manipulation could have a power similar to Shadowfall, but only have positional defense, because really, typed defense doesnt make sense) but they also work on you!

You can take every power in Dark Miasma and use them solo. That's what I want to see for Time Manipulation.

I think these are the most likely elements.

1. Recharge Buffs
2. Slows
3. Some use of the new clone tech. Maybe as a pet, mirror image or a limited phantasmal pet like affect. (Think Gang War)
4. A hold of some sort, if not an AoE hold.
5. Regen or Healing probably hybridized with Recovery ability.
6. A unique take on self-intangibility/hibernation/timestop (I highly doubt they go the way of a cage power)
7. Something AoE that both slows the enemies and super recharges the team. (Temporal Flux ability similar to Fulcrum Shift)
8. A cool rez ability. Like maybe a Time Portal similar to the rikti portals that rez's everyone near it)
9. A level shift related power.
9. Something that combines a power we're use to with a teleportation affect.( Like an absorb pain 'rescue' heal that also teleports the target to the Time Manipulator)

Who knows thought right? can't wait to see the set!

Mainly because of recharge increase. If you're just moving faster in time, it shouldn't tire you out anymore than if you were acting at normal speed. You need to increase recovery/energy whenever you increase recharge to keep the normal energy loss relatively constant.

Given that we already have in-game precedent in Trapdoor for Time Manipulation increasing Regeneration, I think that that one's a pretty safe bet.

Eh...then the set starts to sound to much like Kinetics. Which gives +END/+RCH.

I say give us the +RCH and lets us fix our end issues with slotting/accolades.

I feel the main effects are going to be Recharge, Slow, movement speed, maybe some minor +Recovery/+Regen and some +defense (after all, if you are moving at a faster rate than everyone else, you can probably dodge an attack by seeing the attack coming at a slower rate than you are).

Not to step on Kinetics toes - I do think that any Regen/Recovery effects that can be seen will be nothing compared to Kinetics'.


I envision powers like....

1] A PBAoE toggle power that has a Slow and -Recharge effect to all foes in the area.
2] A PBAoE click or toggle buff that increase the defense of you and all your allies.
3] A teleport power that teleports you into the combat (sort of like Lightning Rod or Shield Charge). However, instead of doing damage, all foes around you may be Held and otherwise face a major Slow effect. Sort of like "stopping time."
4] A clone-pet power that lasts for a little while.
5] A PBAoE click power that increases movement speed and maybe recharge times (maybe not quite as good recharge reduction as to not to steal from Speed Boost there is a target required - or maybe just a self-buff instead of a team buff?)
6] An targeted enemy intangible power - sort of like Dimension Shift in Gravity Control?

Unsure on the rest.

I am really hoping for a travel-power from it though. I really enjoy Siphon Speed on my Grav/Kinetics controller (who is time-traveler themed), so I would like to have a self +movement speed power. I use Hover + Siphon Speed and can hit the flying speed cap!

I'm guessing there will be a -recharge/speed/(maybe -regen) pbaoe toggle. Probably a single target hold/intangible power. And it'll be a defense set, with a few debuffs.

This is a bit closer to what I envision. I'd actually love more of a self toggle buff/debuff set, so they character needs to be more up close with the enemy.

Tier 9 is gonna be an AoE that completely floors enemy recharge. like, -1000000000% (exaggerated) recharge and movement speed. It'll be called Timestop

Hmm. I just had a thought. Since we're manipulating time, effectively being exposed to time travel and all... do we or allies or foes affected by our powers automatically get access to the Ouroboros portal?
