I started in Galaxy City. >_>
Sooo... apparently, there's some sort of event planned for Galaxy in the near future, and it will be directed via Facebook and Twitter? I hope the info will be posted--that is, officially posted--on the forums as well. Some of us don't like social networking, and I'd rather not dig through the virtual garbage on Facebook to find out information about the virtual garbage in City of Heroes.

I like the half article about the meteors to the right, though. We all know what happened the last time meteors crashed on Primal Earth... Coming Storm teaser, perhaps?

I've always liked Galaxy City, and in particular, Galaxy Girl. Of all the city's heroes, she just strikes me as one of the most heroic. I'd love to see more about her and Dauntless at some point. The story of Dauntless's demise sounds particularly tragic, and both of their deaths just strike me as the height of heroism.
We've been saving Paragon City for eight and a half years. It's time to do it one more time.

Actually, I was drawn more to second article: the mention of the meteors in that clip. I wouldn't be surprised if we see a Shivan attack soon. Perhaps the beginnings of "The Coming Storm". Of course I could be completely off target.

Part Pack: Now the majority of players know how we, PvPers, have felt for years now. Don't want to be so "civil" now that you have been completly ignored, do you?
I think maybe they are redoing Galaxy City map bringing it in line with the new graphics and stuff as for the meteor could be an event or some thing to do with the storm.

Destroyed Galaxy City would be a neat way to start a character. Just saying.

*Edit* I'm fairly sure this wasn't a typo since they went to the effort of doing the image in other languages as well

So, we're supposed to clean up Galaxy City - we definitely wouldn't want messy streets when those meteors hit. 
I can see it now, glowie trash piles all over GC. You get the "Mr. Clean" badge after you've picked up 1000 pieces of garbage.

That's a very cool activity for lower level heroes and something that can be incorporated later into places like Kings Row and Perez, for example.
Villainside would be the opposite; arson attemps (like the burning buildings in Mercy) and acts of vandalism (click on a glowing spot on a wall to get a stylized version of your name on it, or maybe even your chest symbol if you have one).
Anyway, I bet it's about the meteors too...

My interest is definitely peaked.
Let me say now though that if meteor turn up and +4 Praetorian Clockwork climb out, I'm gonna be so disappointed. Otherwise, looking forward to finding out more.

this is such a BAD idea....... every building would have a freaken clockwork chest piece on it
Oh yeah, that was the time that girl got her whatchamacallit stuck in that guys dooblickitz and then what his name did that thing with the lizards and it cleared right up.
