I do see a trend here with the same people trying to shoot down any good news that is offered up. Now do i faithfully and blindly believe everything said no i do not it does give hope that some of this maybe true. Right now with the way things are going and getting closer to the end the negativity is not needed. If you have nothing good to say then say nothing because you are just coming across as a troll. I for one do not like trolls and burn them when possible this is not a threat its fact they burn nice and hate fire. I had thought that ae would be a great way to get player made stuff in to the game out side of just running missions in ae, like in an up date adding to the canon of the game.

This is the only super heroe mmo that has the best and most creative developers and players and a community better than any other out there. I have played other mmo's and i am not a mmo die hard but what did it for me on this was the people who worked on and made this game what it was the developers. Having direct player involvement and input was some thing from what i have heard is never truly done in any other game. All of this would still be fine if there was a reason such as to make way for City of heroes 2 or some thing. Just to up and shut it down is like a slap in the face of all of us who stuck with this game and company. The company profits may have fallen short and well with a game engine so out of date only so much can be done. This leaves a void out there that will not be filled to those who were let go my heart goes out to you your passion and dedication will be missed. I f this company knows whats good for them they would have tried to develop another coh 2 maybe with that engine they have. But who am i kidding its the same thing in every aspect of business the safe bet is the best right if thats the case we would never have had the industrial revolution man would never have flown and the moon would never have been landed on. Stagnation and stupidity go hand and hand and to do this is pure idiocy. Any time creativity is stifled by those who are just in it for the money makes me sad.

I honestly went i wanting ti hate the spiderman movie if for nothing else to it would revert back to marvel. I have to say was blown away was well done and i truly liked the spiderman in this he did not come off as a wimpy idiot. Was done well and did not have to listen to Tobey Maguire talk or try and act. And starting with lizard was great it did stray from the comic a bit here and there but i really did not mind the up date on the stuff. Personally i would like to see pvp doen away with and the zones converted to pve zone content. This would stop the issues with what works for what and would help them focus on the main stuff in the game. not a sub par secondary system which only a minuscule of players play. now you can reply to this comment i don't really care despite what you say more fell this way than the other and we are growing every day. So enjoy whats left nof your pvp because some day it will be gone, if nothing else due to causing issues with the pve part.

The oldest One i have ever played would have to be the tsr 80 Texas instruments the game was ty pan or some thing like that trading stuff to one port or another watching out for pirates all black and white almost 0 graphics

I think that all should be attainable in some way some easier than others. I an a vet and have been from issue 3 or so and do not like the fact the one set is only usable on level 50 or higher, or that it took me all damn day to unlock a aura of slime with a level 50 who i hate to play just so i can use it on one i started at 1 st. Paying for unlocks maybe a bit much but i don not have a issue with it giving vets options to use points to unlock stuff like this would be fine as well, paragon points that is. Some thing that lets you unlock a aura or some thin account wide for a vet like; capes, auras, stuff only unlock-able with merits and such as well. I for one do not do task forces and i for do not like raiding much as well. There is some cool costume parts but due to being locked behind different things in game can not be used. live up to to what this game calls its self city of heroes freedom free the stuff (or give a way to buy it).

I Thing a Free Bee package Would be nice a chance for those who missed it could pay to get the items everyone else got for free.

This game will survive due to the diversity of the play base and the creativity of the said base and those who work on the game. The key is to give the players what they need and works with in the game and not what they want due to some times what is wanted and what would work is not the same. As for the game engine it is dated and does need a lot of fixes and the code its self may only be able to be fixed an peace at a time. But i am only guessing i for one will play till i die and on my tome stone will be I would rather be playing COH.

They could and i would love some new at's also as techbot stated would also love some new secondary sets for blasters mainly

I thought the blaster with water and psychic would be cool but with vamires being over done and too easy ........i give you the Psychic Slug color the water set a icky yellow green and the slime aura he looks awesome.

I for one do not gamble, do not like competition, which is why i do not pvp, and posting bits on other sight is all ok but i for one would just like the option to buy what i like and want plain and simple and not jump through all these dumb hoops.

I under stand the epic costume set is to show hay i am over 50 eat this. I for one get a character to 50 his idea and look are set at that point. I do not create a lot of different looks for most of the guys i have. But would love to use it for some lower level ones but there is that restriction.In my opinion this is elitist and just dumb and is one reason i have gotten tired of this crap from other games i have played that i do not play any more. To see COH go this rout is sad. The aura unlocks for slime and others is still annoying but can be done with merits Oh wait that's right the ones that are limited per day and can only be gotten from doing those stupid trials. Give the vets a chance to at least unlock or pay to unlock this crap because i for one do not want to spend that long grinding and getting these just so i can add to a character idea i have at first level.

i for one do not like the idea of placing stuff like costume pieces and stuff like travel powers into things like this. I am not going to spend or gamble to get a rare any thing would not had done it for the costumes but was offered as a option for vets so spent some vet tokens on them which costed me nothing much as i get free just for subscribing to game. need to do this for other things like the auroras and costume pieces you have to get with threads because not doing the epic stuff sucks too much. I for one do not like raids or being kill needlessly over and over so keep you +1 ect.. levels by that point i am sick of playing most characters any way. but the other stuff i like so give it to me and do not lock away behind crap like that.

If they wanted to could give alternate effects and animations for some of the powers, like example (Hell on Earth 18 Ranged, Pet +Dmg, +To Hit, Summon Living Hellfire. Could have a electric effect charging the pet up the mechanics would be the same every thing else would be cosmetic ); or (Smoke Flash 18 Hide Ninja. Could be a flash of lightning. There are other power sets that use this, illusion control for one, the effect from there could be subbed no smoke but a brilliant flash different look same effect). But sadly i do not think they would do this mainly do to time but i can dream

Before you all say it i know many have posted similar threads about this but i have been thinking of a way that would be easy so everyone gets what they want the way they want it and would be easy to do on the part of the designers.

The way it is now the main power set and the pets are all in one so its a packaged deal. now the easy way to fix would split up this so you chose the pet types and the secondary attacks for your self. The villain side has the easiest fix in the Arachnos Widow and Arachnos Soldier sets in there primary's there is a split. Now this would require more than just splitting due to you could respect and pick different powers. To stop the exploit of this if you were to respect you would go only to the top choices you made (example on the list it would have pets thugs, zombies, ect and on the sub set would have primary attack set electric, dark, ect. well it would go to only the start of those you had chosen like zombie and dark allowing to chose which you want first) here is some sample list i made
