Consider me hugely unimpressed if this is the new twitter promo. tried every code...none worked... seems silly to offer 10 codes to thousands of users..... just saying.

That's the message you get when someone else has already claimed the code.
If the game spit out 20 dollar bills people would complain that they weren't sequentially numbered. If they were sequentially numbered people would complain that they weren't random enough.

The problem is someone managed to snatch up every code posted in under 10 seconds. Even the 5 or so that were impossible to copy and paste. I wonder if they had a script or the like running to automatically use it...
I was able to copy/paste codes last night in under 5 seconds, and didn't get one. So yeah, someone is really fast and even sadder than I am.

Sony has been doing this for beta keys for one of their games, and for four straight days, the codes were all used within 5 seconds of the tweets. It just isn't possible for everyone to get.

Aww, they ended up giving out codes early to make up for the maintenance window.
That aura is something that I want, so I'm going to try and get it even though I hate quickfire reaction exercises for single-use codes like this. Having a promocode active for a timelimit (like what's been suggested elsewhere) might be a better option worth exploring in the future, perhaps.

If the speed of the people claiming the Coralax codes was any indication or the speed at which codes were claimed Wednesday afternoon for the Kirby Dots codes are an indication then I'm fairly sure you'll need all the luck you can get.

I'm guessing by now the codes are gone I wish they told us how many there are like they did with /e facepalm emote
It's such a shame that people need to snag multiple codes to be greedy when they only need 1

Something for ppl to use They wanted to make up for lost time because of the maintenance, so they handed out codes. It doesn't have any bearing on whether or not they still hand out any today once the account servers are back up.
